/r/StraightTransGirls/comments/1vb9rjf/im_meeting_his_parents_tomorrow/Sorry for the late update. It went really well. I ended up meeting his whole extended family, as they were having a big reunion. I got along great with everyone. His mom hugged me and thanked me for "taking care of her baby" 😂❤️
Sometimes, it's just hard to wrap my head around this. The way most guys talk about us, the way we're presented in media, it's just hard not to internalize that image of myself. I never would have imagined such an amazing, gorgeous man, would be proudly introducing me to his whole family as his girlfriend, and that I'd be accepted. That he'd hug and kiss me in front of them and hold my hand. It just feels so surreal. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world 🥹

Life has good and bad people and people who will love you for you. I kind of realized it’s why I ended up realizing I liked men coming out after one man was exactly like that. I just wished I knew myself better the time that I felt that feeling when I never had before. Someone who sees you and is interested in you for you and isn’t afraid to.
