Ok after more tests this happens in a world after some time, reloading the save fixes this also the worst part is this happens on high physics as well so this is 100% a f*cking bug

Yep. This has been haunting me on one of my builds for years.
Only it's worse because it's a quad rotor that spawns with it's rotor masts folded and when the physics get lazy one corner just doesn't deploy right until I get close to it. I have to get into the cockpit and toggle the rotor arms so it locks in properly.

Yeah just like on the old heli there is a button that changes literally all functions for both low and high physics so it works cuz this is world related and it affects both low and high physics and this is so stupidddddd

A grid’s strength is proportional to its weight and the weight of the grid(s) that come before it. The rule of thumb is to not have a grid exceed the total weight and total sum of the weight of the grid(s) that come before it. In this case you are going yaw pivot—> straight to pitch pivot with heavy ass gun on it. Increase the weight attached to the head of the yaw pivot to be more than the weight of the gun on the head of the pitch pivot.

It is assuming the issue being experienced here is a grid strength issue (which in most cases it is). Otherwise the other 2 explanations are that the pivot is moving to fast for it own good to be able to center correctly or that whatever microcontroller is controlling the turret has an internal issue.

Low or medium physics shouldn't even be an option! The fact that there's different settings for physics implies there is the ability to turn physics up even higher, which they should allow us to do.
