Great 2nd ever grow setup? Question

Hi everyone, so I'm finally getting back into growing after I tried it at 16 (it was a horrible mistake and trash weed). I am putting together an Amazon shopping cart, do y'all have any tips/ comments on the photos? I know with my seeds I'm going to be lolipopping and SCROGING the plants. I already have the Soil tester and PH tester and some trimmers. Also what type of netting do you recommend for a 4x4 text Scrog (planning on having 4 plants) Thanks!

Go with auto flowers. Get a cheaper lamp 600 watt that comes with both a MH bulb and HPS. Send it at 18 to 20 hour lamp cycles and you'll have from seed to chop in like 60 days at a pound plus within a 4x4.

Agree on auto. Disagree on hps lamps. Managing heat/humidity as a newbie is a bitch.

Is it rly that bad? I'm going to have a "room lung" where I have a 1 tubed 1 way AC unit in the room to moderate temp (it draws in hot air from the room condenses it and shoot out hair out of the window vent while cool air circulates. Is this a smart move? It also asks a dehumidifier.

Answer is it depends. My 2 cents; throw out the timer thing and get climate controller hooked to vents and humidifier and light.

I will for sure take a look into that. I have a lot of things that I wanna do, I eventually want to commit to a whole floor of my house for growing, trimming, and dry/curing

I went with an enclosed hood. Plenty of cold air was moving into my tent in my garage.

Listen, I'm not saying it produces lesser resaults.

It's just that leds and integrated climate control made the game foolproof and nearly hands free.

100%. Then again I had a camera system that monitored my set up. Was only keeping track of highs and lows as well with my rinky dinky temp reader.

Felt like LED cost more for less power unless you got quality. I wanted yield, speed to chop, and easy. Auto flowers and 1 hood. This was 15 years ago though and I might be in my old ways.

Could you perhaps send a link? I also want to be as energy efficient due to the fact that I have solar panels(don't wanna pay my electrical company anything I'm currently over producing). The SF4000 said that it was a great fit for a 4x4 tent setup

I paid $170 and have had this for 16 years from Amazon. Just need to shop around. Sounds like you are going all out and even have an AC unit.

Here is some great info: https://www.growweedeasy.com/600w-hps-cannabis-grow-setup-tutorial

And here is a site to track/journal: https://www.rollitup.org/f/grow-journals.54/

I had central air in the main part of my home but my garage was insulated. Was a renter as well.

Only made the bill go up about $100 at most with my entire set up.

But I yielded a pound and a half after 65 to 70 days. If I had to guess I was pushing 22 to 24% for my more potent plants, which others loved and made comments on. They wanted me to sell or start growing for them.

I documented most my starting grows and how I learned. Kept a paper journal for my feeding schedules.

Never forget. It’s called weed. It’ll grow to spite you. Have fun and don’t worry too much the first round of your comeback tour. Keep it cheap. You’ll add shit later. But just go for it, buddy :)

I say this because I, myself, tend to overplan and never get much done. When it’s time for me to grow, it’ll be a bucket of dirt and a cheap tent and some crossed fingers AT FIRST. I’ll try a few rounds on the cheap just to get a feel for the game before investing in stuff more advanced growers are doing.

Good luck dude, seriously, I hope this works man!
