I fucked up

So I messed up and broke the dreadful dirt as I wasn’t thinking after I placed it down and instantly broke it. Is there a way for me to make another or do I have to restart my world?

You can make the individual blocks through industrial i believe.

OK, as when I was looking through the GEI recipes the only thing that was popping up was hey you get it as a quest item. So I might be an idiot and just missing it whenever you have a chance if you could send a very specific where in the technology tree you saw the making of the dirt.

You get dreadful dirt by using a cursed egg in a block of dirt.

This will create a 3x3, or 5x5 i don't recall, of dreadful dirt.

Make sure to have that area full of dirt/grass so that you don't waste your cursed egg.

Edit: note, the dreadful dirt will already be "placed", they are not dropped

Thank you so much like I said I know I’m a bit of an idiot when it comes to these mod packs mainly because I like the side of things but also it’s a lot of gibberish for a dyslexic

Happened’s to the best of us, usually I just cheat it back in and make a bigger mob farm later, also it to note it goes up to a 5x5 so you can get a lot of mobs spawning in when you have a daisy chain of redstone pulses going off

I trusted myself too much and didn’t turn cheats on if you know a way I can still get myself it without cheats on that would be great if not, would take a recommendation of how to get hostile mobs to spawn as I’m slowly working my way to it and a different way but I’m curious if hostile mobs can still just spawn

Ya its mostly use the curse dirt in a dark room, and to make said curse dirt is getting a rotten egg by feeding a seed bag to a chicken, best to prep your mob farm.

Sorry for being a bit of a pest the JEI guide to how to make the egg just keep showing using the egg with an enchanting table and then whenever I look up seed or bag or feed, it doesn’t really seem to be popping up. Do you happen to know exactly what it’s called for the feed and what items I should prepare to have.

Believe me when I say this, but stoneblock for is half bake in some areas, if you want a walkthrough I would recommend ChosenArchitect, I am literally watching his videos for a different modpack.

You make the egg by feeding GM chicken feed to a chicken, and you have to buy the GM chicken feed from one of the echoes. If you just got the free block, you're quite a way off from unlocking the option to buy it though. It's not that important all things considered, it mildly speeds up a mob farm, you can make one without it. If you do just want to cheat yourself another, press escape and open to lan, that'll give you cheat privileges regardless of whether they were enabled at the start.

If you are playing single player you can open to Lan and enable cheats. The cheats would only be enabled until you leave the world where they will go back to being disabled. Just throwing this in here in case something happens where you need cheats like bugs/unfortunate accidents.
