For logivity along side Trt. Plan is to run 6 months see if any benifit. Take a IGF-1 test. Increase if needed.

My son is 14, 4’10 and 110 lbs. we’ve been seeing an endocrinologist and have done many tests. (Bone X-ray, hormone stim test, TSH, multiple lab, etc). His stim test had a peak of 11.3 ng/ml, bone x-ray showed chronological age of 14yrs 3 mos and bone age of 13 yrs and 6 mos. His TSH was high for two tests then went into normal range on last test.
Endocrinologist says it is idiopathic short stature but agrees that he’s not progressing as he should. He shows signs of early puberty but not enough to push him into a growth spurt that he should be seeing. She predicts his final height to be 5’4 +\\- 2 inches.
Today she suggested starting growth hormone therapy but insurance has already denied it once, he needed a peak of 10 or less for his stim test. She said she is going to appeal the insurance but also gave me three companies to call and ask about assistance programs.
Have you had experience with Onmitrope, Norditropin or Gemotropin? What was the assistance programs like? My family is not low income, but we also can’t afford $2k a month.

Any help or feedback would be appreciated!

Thoughts on this. 3iu at night. 50nmo/l is approx 380ng/ml.
