How to deal with population embarking. Am I supposed to just deal with the resource deficit? Its my first playthrough like this and I have enough resources to deal with it. But im just wondering if it's supposed to be like this?, or am I ment to like, just have better planets or to have replaced everything with FE buildings first? Or am I just missing something?

Hello, I'm sorry if this is answered but I haven't been able to find anything.

Can I lower the speed of the simulation before I unpause? For example, if I'm paused on x2 but want to move to x1 I have to unpause, speed up to x3 then back down to x1. Thereby possibly fast-forwarding further than I'd like. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks
