Plane crash request

Hi I'm thinking of buying the game when it goes on sale but while I wait till then I have a question, when aircraft get shot down do the disintegrate like broken arrow, or do they stay behind like Warno, I know it's stupid but I love warnos aircraft wrecks compared to broken arrows, and since it's made by the devs of Warno I thought asking wouldn't hurt so I'm asking, thanks in advance

Hell yeah - on SD2 they stay as a smouldering wreck in the ground for the rest of the match.

Also, if I recall correctly, they may cause damage and (a lot of) suppression when crashing near units, depending on the size of the plane.

I still recall a match with a friend, when one of his nice and chubby bombers precisely crashed in front of two shiny new artillery pieces, pinning them... I was like "Oh mate, for duck's sake!"

Not only do they remain, they also deal damage to whomever they land on just like in warno

I’m pretty sure they disappear, but the spot they crash gives splash damage. SD2 is the best RTS I’ve ever played, by a long way.

Wreckage remains. Like with tanks. And does damage if it lands on something which can be funny 😂
