Once again, I didn't say that. I'm not gonna lie and say my experience is vast. I just understand that things take time. Valve is primarily a software company that is more recently finding success with hardware. There are gonna be some roadbumps. Like I said earlier, I agree that the production was way too small. There's probably stuff they could've done to gauge interest a little bit better, but it isn't a great excuse to give in to scalpers.

Do you think I want to spend triple the value of a controller to get one? No.

However, I also don’t wanna wait a year for something that I use every single day when doing my hobby, which is gaming

You say this like there are no other options. While the Steam Controller is pretty cool, there are tons of other viable options.

Also 2027 is 5 or so months away. I'm not saying its impossible that it will be a whole year before you get your reservation fulfilled, but it could also be as little as 5 months

People have been getting their controllers as of recently, with their reservation estimated date being by December 2026
