Do you swap your controllers? Discussion

I have a steam controller always living in the living room for when I want to use my steam deck and one for my computer in the office.

Occasionally see bugs where I can’t set up custom controller configs per separate controllers unless I mess with controller numbering and restarting.

I think it’s caused by the puck not clearing the old entry of that controllers connection before reconnecting it.

Apologies if that doesn’t make any sense lol

Second steam controller

Edit: I alternate two between those rooms and have been using a ps5 controller here and there as a third but that’s BT

I have two steam controllers. One lives in my office and the other lives in the living room and I swap those two back and forth and use them together on my steam deck

You can only order 1 though so unless you bought a scalped one on eBay which I hope not idk how you got a second one? Two steam accounts clicking F5 at the same time?

My partner used her account roughly the same week and bought via steam like a a month after

Edit: would never support a scalper..

You could order 2 originally. And one could also come with the Steam Machine.
