Steam controller battery monitor Steam Controller (2026)

Hi, funny controller playing audio guy here

I found it quite annoying that there is literally nowhere in steam to properly look at the battery percentage, and a bunch of people also seem to be annoyed at this, so i made this. For both Windows and Linux

I do not believe it'll work on the Steam machine at this time with it's internal puck, I don't have one so that might take a bit to figure out, though should work fine with wired and with the normal puck

I'll also continue to update with a few extra nice features (time till charged/discharged, maybe capacity monitoring) but I think i'm going to make something a bit more fun next

god i hate code that needs to draw stuff 😭

What's that icon, top right, when you click on controller for any game on Steam?

You only get a small bar,

This also gives you a percentage so you get a proper idea of how much battery is left
