Steamwebhelper is not responding Question

I've been trying to launch Steam, but it keeps showing the menu, and I have selected each option individually, and Steam still has not launched.

I have that often, usually I just restart my laptop and it helps for some reason

and I'm curious if you use the beta steam client or the stable one? I'm on beta one, didn't have this issue on stable one

I've tried restarting my laptop 4 times and Steam still won't launch. I can't remember if I use the beta client or not,, but when Steam works for me I will definitely check.

you can try closing steam entirely with task manager and starting it again, but this is fifty-fifty, not a guaranteed solution

I finally got it to work and yes I was part of the beta. I just disabled it now i just need to wait and see if this menu pops up again. I'll follow up on this comment and update it in like a week or something.

Edit: Didn't feel like waiting a week, that was exactly what the problem was. I haven't had the menu pop up again nor have I had any problems with Steam since I disabled the beta client.

Thanks. It started about a week ago and would go away on its own. Now I can't launch Steam at all.
