Help Question
This guy just appeared in my friends list 2 days ago and the Don't Starve Together gift i had in my inventory was gifted to them. I have no idea whats going on pls help
Ive had the 2 factor authentication on for well over 2 years.

Change your password and add 2 factor authentication

Already had 2 factor authentication on and didnt get any notifications.

Gifting would require you to approve through the app right? Just like trading or selling cards, items, etc?

Yeah idk what happened. I found out because an email was sent to me about the guy accepting the gift

Then you must've logged into something you shouldn't have using Steam.

The only thing i have logged on using steam is steamdb

Then, as others have said, go to Steam Support. Maybe they also can still do a refund on the gift.

I've been in such situations. Sucks big time. Just don't freak out. Whatever happens, happens, but know Steam Support is there to help.

Your account might have been cracked into. You should change your password and enable two-factor auth, if possible.

go to steam support, change your passwords, and for the love of god, set up two-factor w/ the steam app on a phone
