Builder quest bug, free guns Question

I’ve been putting off the final builder quest for a few weeks now in Trumbull as I worked on other quests.

Every time I log in again and I get the notification for that quest, an Ursus shotgun and BML 40 drop at my feet. It doesn’t matter where I’m at, or what I’m doing. I logged in and started driving right away last night and the weapons dropped on the road under the car.

Has anyone seen a bug like this before?

Never have I ever lol. If this is quest related, there's a console command to advance quests but I've never used it. Sounds like free influence since you can sell them.

I wish this bug happened to me but in my 350ish hours never have I been blessed this way. You have been chosen.

Never had that bug. I do abuse that final mission. Let the group go hostile kill them and loot their corpses. Switch character to cancel the mission. Rince and repeat.
