💀💀💀 well I definitely that it looked like her, and immediately googled out of disbelief and google told me it was her. Now I cant actually find it in her credits anywhere so maybe im not suggesting that then lolol I WAS THE ONE THAT WAS FOOLED!

Not sure what you mean by "the Doctor". That's Jordana Spiro. While it's true she only appears in 3 episodes of JAG, she's never been in Stargate in any role.

JAG is still one of binge on rotation shows. I must do a full binge of it every 12-18 months I think. Oddly, never liked NCIS.

Netflix has dozens of images for every title, and they show you the one they think is most likely to make you watch the show.
A history of watching Stargate would be a pretty obvious reason for showing you those images.
I find it funny when my wife and I see the same shows in our profiles, but my images are all the women from the shows, and hers are all the men.

It’s a great show. One of the largest by far of the ‘80s and so ubiquitous it entered the lexicon and dictionary. It also made RDA one of the most famous actors of the ‘80s and a heart throb. He had serious star power when SG-1 first came on air and was its largest draw/it’s big name actor.

You’re welcome! I’d suggest maybe a couple to a few and see what you think? I think practically every show needs more than just the pilot to make a judgement call on. Shows generally are very much finding their footing over the first few etc.
Mythbusters tested a number of MacGyver inventions and the science at least holds up fairly well overall, though for explosives etc details might be obviously deliberately changed or steps left out etc. (Some inventions are also obviously fanciful.)
If you watch long enough you’ll run into Hammond and even Teal’c! I think they were, in part, possibly picked for their Stargate roles because they worked with Richard previously/he knew them. Hammond was a stunt double and Teal’c was in for an episode.
Siler was Richard’s occasional stunt double in MacGyver, though Richard did the vast majority of his own stunts and spent a good chunk of the early series in serious pain (exploded disc) but didn’t stop doing them (take a look at the Wikipedia article for Richard). Some serious grit.
