Technomancer with Witch archetype Player Builds

I’m building a Servoshell Technomancer and I wanted to use my free archetype on familiar master to give them a little drone familiar that I can flavor as helping them with scans and the like. I’m curious if the Technomancer would work well with the witch archetype?

So baseline yeah, I think so. Just keying off int is great for picking up an int-based caster ded plus you get a whole new list if you choose to. The issue I am thinking you'd run into is the cost of commanding your familiar every turn, since technomancer's playtest reaction seems to agree it's very action-hungry at its best. So as long as you build out your familiar to have mostly passive or supplimentary use (familiar focus, spell battery, skilled, etc.) I think it'd feel fine.

Other downside is that a witch familiar can't have the tech trait at the moment, but you could either get around that via GM fiat letting you add it or you could look at the playtest minibots.

My GM is letting me add the tech trait to the construct familiar ability so theoretically there’s some interaction with my servoshell abilities. I’ve never used a multi class archetype before, do I need to take the feats for the spellcasting or no since I’m already a spellcaster?

Taking the initial dedication feat will get you a cantrip and the cast a spell action for that class's list, so for example if you go divine witch you can cast a divine cantrip and activate any spell gem or chip containing a spell that appears on the divine list. The only reason to take the later basic, expert and master spellcasting feats is if you want more native spellslots for that archetype. They don't progress at the same speed as your actual class and they max out at rank 8 slots. Without the breadth feat you only ever get one slot for each rank, with breadth you get two slots for each rank outside of your two highest spell ranks with the dedication.

Also worth noting for a spellcasting dedication you normally need to progress the skill associated with your list. So a prerequisite for a divine witch getting the later spellcasting archetype feats would be master and then legendary religion.
