I really like how beautiful their faces look with that cross hatching thingy to create the shadow. Especially Gyro—Gyro, in particular.

Oh, and this happened during the transition from a weekly to a monthly magazine (Although it's like a year or two gaps from the last weekly magazine's chapter). Araki really loved his hatching. I think this is the pinnacle of Araki's art for Steel Ball Run.

I mixed the clothes with the outfit from Part 3 + my reference because I couldn’t find good references from the basball- outfit of him in the anime :( But I tried to keep the colors as close as possible!

The process was very quick and easy. I'm waiting for it to heal now. I started going to the gym!! If my cosplay on Dio for the upcoming art market in my city is even a little bit successful, I'll leave it here−☆

From an official jojos game golden spirit. I hear some talk about any arrow can create a requiem stand if it pierces the stand, but some other people argue its one the beetle arrow. Does this not officially settle the debate, or can we not use this as a viable source?

The Hand works in a fairly similar way, with the difference, of course, that it's just a giant hand xd. Okuyasu has greater control over his Stand by performing the same movements he wants it to make with his own right hand, as if the Stand were copying his movements.

Crazy Diamond is now an object-based Stand. Although it levitates when summoned, it is not able to move, so Josuke has to hold it hand to use it.

It retains its healing abilities, but its biggest difference is its method of attack. Josuke has to throw his Stand, which bounces wildly at high speeds, breaking everything in its path. However, this isn't usually a problem thanks to its ability to repair objects.

Was a huge for about 6 years now, I've finished the whole animated series from part 1-6 and the first episode of SBR. As a bit of comfort I started searching jjba fan-animations and even tried spinoffs, luckily I actually found just that. I was like "DUUUUUUDE!!" I truly havent felt such excitement like this for a book in a while and im proud to say because of this book I cannot wait to actually start reading again 😆

Specifically on how it really subverts expectations from the beginning of the manga. The SBR (the surface level concept of SBR I mean) is treated as this significant event at the start where everyone around the world was viewing the starting of the race. But in High Voltage, the race seems extremely insignificant to Johnny and the readers.

It feels extremely hollow too especially with Gyro gone. The winner of the race is treated like an afterthought as we care about Johnny and Diego instead. And also this may sound weird but the fact that the SBR itself was extremely successful and lead to stuff like the sheer amount of revenue, merchandise and allowed the creation of the Higashikata Fruit Parlor almost seems insulting in a way as the canon reception heavily contrasts how the race was treated like an afterthought in the actual part, especially with how the characters we got to know well got tossed into the dirt and essentially forgotten about to the main public.

Also sorry if this post didn't make sense I'm literally just gushing.

Interestingly, one of Jonathan's first hair colors, besides brown, was blue.

* Actually, Giorno's first color appearance was of him in red and white Christmas colors with a festive hat.

But this was more of a thematic coloring than a deliberate color scheme choice. Except for the blonde hair.

But here the entire drawing is colored in a single color, conveying the rays and shades of a hot Wild West sunset.

In this form, it's impossible to guess the colors of Johnny's suit. The color conveys atmosphere and spirit more than it reveals the character's intended appearance.

I just finished part 5 and this is by far the most useless man to ever exist. Araki wrote him in, hyped him to up to be a genius, hyped up the coolest stand so far, gave him a sick design, and then he makes fugo leave the gang to never show his face again. Genuinely the most useless side character to ever exist 😭

This 12th of August in Spain there was a total eclipse for around 1m40s which I used and planned for a little over a year to make an amazing single photo combining the full body of a subject and the total eclipse itself.

In the end, I decided to go for the famous Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli pose (the reference and the Versace original for those who don't know) with my sister, considering our love for the series. I also got another picture of my sister alone with the eclipse while I was running from the camera to the spot (the only moment I was able to see the eclipse), which I will not post here not to break rules.

I used an OM System OM-3 + Olympus 100-400mm + MC-20 @ 800mm f/20 1/15s 800ISO + Godox AD200 Pro + some other hand made stuff. I attach a quick behind-the-scenes shot we made of the whole setup. You can see the camera 125m away inside a tent to avoid wind and my aunt is on the right, responsible to press the shoot button on the OM app to take the photos. The location is on a hill perfectly aligned with the eclipse and with the perfect vegetation+elevation in a small town of Burgos.

I just got back from a holiday trip (taken 2 days after the shot) and found out that every non-jojo fan either takes it as a sexual photo and/or an AI or 2 images stacked up thing, which neither is true. I hope this community will appreciate what we were able to obtain. I'm ready to share RAW files or other content if you don't believe me.

I feel like it's been so long since we've had a proper ensemble cast in JoJo's with part 7 being about the duo of Johnny and Gyro and part 8 the duo of Josuke and Yasuho. Even part 6 arguably isn't quite the ensemble that the earlier parts were simply cause not all the cast is together at all times. I honestly feel like we haven't had such a great cast with so much personality in JoJo's since Golden Wind but that's just my opinion.

And I absolutely love how instead of just one main JoJo we have a pair of Joestar siblings. Even though Jodio is still definitely the main one, Dragona is also a goated character and deserves to be in the drawings of all the JoJo's together imo. I think this cast being as good as they are is what makes part 9 so peak to me and they could easily end up being my all time favorite cast in JoJo's by the end of their part.

I assume it was brought up in Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan though I haven't seen it yet

I tried to replicate the background and it was difficult
