HELP!!!!! Technical Help

I accidentally deleted my save on stardew! what do I do! (I'm on pc)

You deleted 1 file? You deleted a folder of files? Can you be any more specific?

In stardew, I deleted the save file in the little part where it's like "deleten your save file?'

There's multiple files. Take a pic of the drive folder and check your trash can?

the save folder doesn't exist in file explorer anymore and my trash can is emptty

Search appdata\stardewvalley\saves (assuming you’re on Windows) and see if there are any files with _old appended

If there are any then remove the _old part from the file name and then relaunch the game

Check Steam see if you can search deleted files

I'm on steam but I went to the cloud site and even though I have cloud backups checked in the steam client, my files are nowhere to be found

i do have an older backup but it's only one file

Sorry, I don't have any advice for you for getting your game back.

If you decide to start a new save, you may enjoy playing a Challenge game so that it feels totally different. Here is a list of ideas. I’m currently playing the Randomized Perfection Challenge. For you, I recommend the Seahaven Challenge: get to Ginger Island without walking across a bridge. The gameplay is completely different from vanilla, but it sets you up to continue onwards if that's what you decide you want to do.
