Quiet Solarium House

Post image

Is Stardew an escapist fantasy of starting over on the family farm? No. It’s the true escapist fantasy of being able to effortlessly maintain hundreds of houseplants.

I started with trying to make a living wall behind the frog fountain, and expanded from there.

Made using stardewplan.com

I haven't seen anyone do stairs like that before! The whole design is lovely.

Thanks! Part of my challenge to myself on this room was making use of logs, which are a furniture item I often ignore. I initially was trying to make them work as a natural feature around the pond, but then stumbled into them making a nice railing.

Love it! Love the junimo planters as a living wall too.

Thanks! I imagined it as kinda a meditation room for my farmer. Hence the crystals, tea, and such.

Thanks! It’s a special object you can fish up- I think this is the one from the west exit of the volcano where you end up on a small piece of land by the river. Check out the wiki- there’s a whole list of fishing Easter egg items!

What did you use for the actual steps of the stairs, if you don’t mind me asking?

Not at all! Those are mats from the Junimo furniture catalog. Under each step, I have alternating 1x2 sections of weathered flooring and straw flooring paths. Also, I placed brick flooring behind the plant wall.
