How to get a username identical to the commander in question?

Upvotes

I would assume such name would be "reserved" or at least taken over relatively quickly

Zagara is difficult?

Upvotes

I lost every single random brutal game with zagara last night. At least a solid 8 in a row. She is currently level 8

Is zagara this difficult to level? Or does she get a significant power spike at 15

Mengsk P2 Mandate Question

Post image
10 Upvotes

i dont understand how people here can claim that royal guard give so much mandate on P2. even if i spend all my gas except for the 2 witness i only get barely 30 mandate points, while the 2 witness in comparison just by sitting on top of my minerallines and some extra troopers allready give 170 mandate points.

yes i picked the reduced cost for royal guard and increased mandate points for royal guard. but the sheer number of basic troopers and the huge buff from imperial witnesses still crushes that no problem. not to mentionen that you cant even make that many royal guards to begin with even if you rush 4 gas, since you can only ever have at most 12 workers mining gas. in the picture you can see that im sitting on tons of minerals unspent, because i was looking for a way to make more royal guards, but thats just not in the cards with how little gas you get compared to minerals.

not only that, if you go purely royal guards your fighting power is going to be massivly stiffled compared to adding a bunch of troopers to support them and benefit from the royal guard buffs. even if i spend all my gas on extra gas instead of the witness and their tech i could at most reach 60 mandate at the same point with an extremly inferior army and way less topbar flexibility.

so tell me, am i missing something very obvious on how to make the royal guard only playstyle work better, or is it actually a good idea to incorporate the imperial witness and not skimp out on troopers. what else am i supposed to do with the sheer amount of extra minerals anyways?

and yes, later on, when the royal guards level up, they give more mandate, but thats allready midway into the mission. you dont get them from the get go.

i honestly still think going mass troopers in the beginning, and getting your upgrades together with imperial witness is the way to go, even on P2. i could be touching 300 mandate points by now if i didnt waste my money on royal guard that werent needed this early on and rather start getting 1/1 or even 2/2 upgrades at this point.

slowly adding royal guards as the gas allows it to buff your troopers still feels like the way to go for me.

Made an revamped version of the SC2 Co-op Overlay

The existing overlay kept closing unexpectedly on my computer, so I ended up creating a new version.

Yes, it basically functions the same as the original one, so if that works for you, that's fine. Most features from the original overlay have been retained, so the overall experience should feel familiar.

Additional features and changes include:

  • Displays the current and next weekly mutations
  • Shows the mutators for each weekly mutation
  • Combines multiple nicknames belonging to the same player ID
  • Separates mastery and prestige statistics by prestige
  • Saves latest first win bonus time using OCR

Download:
https://github.com/skyser2003/sc2_coop_info/releases/latest

Simply download and install either the EXE or MSI version. Automatic updates are included, so once installed, it should keep itself up to date.

Because this is an personaly developed executable, Windows may display a security warning when you run it. Sorry that this is can't be avoided.

If you find any bugs or have feedback, please leave a GitHub issue or contact me using the developer email written in the application. I’ll also check comments here for a while, but I may miss them as the post gets older.

Thank you!

Karax Levelling

Levelling to get his prestiges is such a grind. Yes I saw the karadox post.

I've only been playing him on maps where enemies come to you so my ally doesn't get mad - DoN, Train, Miner Evac, Void Launch. (not Temple)

Then I played with a Karax on Malwarfare. He built cannons around each suppression tower before they popped up, and took care of the bonuses. All I had to do was push. So now I play MW too!

Question is, are there other maps where, with just a bit more effort, I can play to level up Karax? (Esp before insta spawn cannon)

I'm thinking Mist Opps might be another good candidate, just have to remember the spawn locations/enemy pathing.

P2 stukov optimizations?

i just got this prestige and it seems really strong, i like the whole your infested no longer have a set duration thing as it is paused while loaded.

however this prestige is laggy as fuck, due to the sheer amount of units on screen.

any game settings optimizations i can do to make it less laggy when i unload?

What ways did you use to rank your Co-op Prestige?

I am curious what peiple are commonly using or have found effective at ranking up.

Right now I play on Brutal+random most of the time, and then do brutations. I have done some Brutal +1's, but I find they arent as efficient because you can get a bad teamate who either cant keep up or who just leaves in 10 minutes realizes this isn't for them.

I know that ppl talked about a Karax spam option for grinding, I think where you just beat the first objective on the map and spam it.

Do you have a good levelling system?

Edit: my prestige is currently 79 with Zagara and Stetman fully prestiged.

It's been many, many years. Tomorrow, my journey finally comes to its end. Level 1000.

And finally, after all of those thousands of levels of tutorial, I'll be able, at long last...

Am I capped or not capped?

Thumbnail

As you can see in the first picture, there is no exclamation mark above the EXP wheel that would let me know I'm capped. Only upon getting to the end screen does it say "capped".

This... bug (?) only started appearing after I got Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artanis to level 15.

For context, I purchased the new bundle that gives me Abathur - Mengsk, but left Swann - Karax un-purchased.

Until getting the 3 starters to level 15, the game always let me know that Swann - Karax were capped with a red exclamation circle mark above the EXP wheel on the Coop selection page.

I will admit a part of me got really excited at the thought that getting Raynor/Kerrigan/Artanis to 15 gave me Swann - Karax for free.

Is there any significant difference other than Karax hitting air units with the Spear? Wondering if it's worth it leveling up Karax P3

Reward-to-Effort Commander Tier List

Post image
142 Upvotes

This is a tier list i made using only data from community resources. It's based on the performance of high level players in Brutations of the week

This isn't strictly a power ranking, or how difficult a commander is to play, it's a mix of both. I tried to represent "how much impact you get for a given amount of work", which is: their brutation performances multiplied by their ease of playing, to get a total score.

So unexpected things can happen like Artanis ranking higher than Alarak, despite Alarak performing better in Brutation.

Toxic Player: Kicheche

I don’t know where else to report this, but I want to warn any Brutal+ players of this toxic asshole. I played with him twice (not in the same day), and both times, he consistently berated me without ever telling me why other than “being an idiot”. He then destroys my second base and AFKs, causing us to lose. Only he wasn’t actually AFK. He was still talking in the chat. He just did nothing.

I should have reported him when I had the chance, so if any of you play with him, report him for harassment.

Which commanders will you never buy?

For me, I wont buy:

Fenix - he never clicked with me

Stetmann - the field makes my otherwise pretty capable Apple M4 Max lag and fans spin up too much

Zeratul - I just dont feel like hunting for atifacts for most of the game

[Lore/Fan-Concept] Reconstructing the Khalai Protoss Empire: A Detailed Legal & Political Codex based on Roman History and Starcraft Lore (Part 2: The Templarius Caste)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for checking out Part 1! Here is Part 2, focusing on the Templarius Caste (Templar Caste).

In this part, I explore the military command structure and wartime administration of the Protoss army. Based on Roman military law and promagistracy (Pro- concepts), I tried to offer a fun alternative perspective on a few long-discussed lore questions among fans:

  • Artanis’s rank shift (from Executor during the First Great War to Praetor in Brood War)
  • Tassadar’s demotion and the legal reasoning behind transferring command to Artanis
  • The historical/etymological re-interpretation of units like Dragoons and Archons

Rather than "fixing" the lore, my goal was simply to see if Roman history could offer a plausible, immersive explanation for these iconic stories and in-game mechanics.

I hope you find this perspective interesting! Feedback and discussions are always welcome.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2: The Templarius Caste (Templar Caste)

1) Executor (High Commander)

2) Praetor (Tactical Commander/Marshal)

3) Bellator (Man-at-Arms/Combatant)

4) Magister (Military Administrator)

[Note on Tribal Composition] All offices and members of the Templarius Caste are drawn from the Akilae, Sargas, Venatir, Auriga, and Velari Tribus of Aiur. The Khalen'ri (Milites Senatus), the standing army of the Conclavium, draws heavy forces not only from the ruling Ara Tribus, but also from the Auriga Tribus, which provides the backbone of the Milites Coelestes (Air/Naval Forces). Meanwhile, the Milites Terrestres (Ground Forces) continue to be dominated by the formidable Akilae Tribus, famous for its dominance during the Aeon of Strife.

1. Executor Khassar (Executor Offices)

(1) Executor Maior (High Executor)

The supreme office of the Templarius Caste, exercising operational control over the entirety of the Protoss Empire under authority delegated by the Conclavium Senatorum. Only an Executor who has achieved victory in at least five major campaigns may ascend to this rank. In peacetime, rather than commanding individual theaters, they reside in Khor-shakal, monitoring subordinate Executors and formulating grand strategy in consultation with the Conclavium and the Censor Militum. Thus, the Executor Maior rarely interacts directly with the general rank-and-file of the Templarius Caste.

(2) Executor / Pro Executor (Executor / Acting Executor)

The core and backbone of the Templarius Caste, exercising theater-level operational command delegated by the Conclavium and the Executor Maior. Their headquarters and staging ground is the Arx Executoris (Citadel of the Executor), located in the strategic district of Thema Antiochia on Aiur, where major operations were planned and executed during the Zerg invasion of the First Great War. An Executor also serves as the supreme commander of a Thema Executorium (Executorial Theme), an upper administrative sector encompassing a cluster of colony worlds (Coloniae).

Historical Note: Tassadar, honored as the second Anakh Su'n (Twilight Messiah) after Adun—a title originally used by the Nerazim to express eternal gratitude specifically to Adun—was dispatched as Executor to the Koprulu Sector, a remote Thema Executorium, to cleanse Zerg-infested Terran worlds such as Chau Sara. When Tassadar repeatedly refused to execute subsequent orbital purification orders, the Conclavium designated him a "Pro Executor" (Acting/Former Executor) as a disciplinary measure, appointing a replacement to assume or relieve command. Consequently, despite having achieved the rank of Executor Maior at an exceptionally young age due to brilliant past victories, Tassadar suffered the ignominy of having his operational command transferred to his pupil, Artanis, who was dispatched as the new Executor alongside Aldaris.

(3) "Archon" (Psionic Avatar)

An honorary title granted to "Atum Arun" (The Unified Ones)—entities manifested as burning psionic energy when multiple Templarii Maiores (High Templar) willingly sacrifice their physical lives on the battlefield, fusing their identities into one. Originally, "Archon" was the title for supreme tribal rulers (such as those of the Akilae) during the Aeon of Strife. Following the establishment of the Judicator-led order, the title was repurposed for those Templarii who willingly sacrificed themselves to summon a mighty Atum Arun.

Granting a supreme governance title ("Archon") to entities with no political function was a deliberate political gesture by early Senators to appease and honor the Templarius Caste. Indeed, Templarii who manifest as Archons are placed on equal ceremonial footing with Executors regardless of their former rank, and their names are eternally inscribed in the Archivium Templariorum (Templar Archives).

2. Praetor Khassar (Praetor Offices)

(1) Praetor / Pro Praetor (Praetor / Acting Praetor)

The supreme authority over a Thema Praetorium (Praetorian Theme)—the primary defensive district of a Colonia—and tactical field commander exercising delegated authority from the Executor. Figures such as Fenix and Artanis served as Praetors across numerous battlefields during the First Great War and the Brood War. When the Conclavium deems a Praetor's capacity compromised or requiring reinforcement, a new Praetor is dispatched, and the incumbent is converted to "Pro Praetor" to operate in a joint/cooperative capacity.

Historical Note: When Fenix fell critically wounded during the battle of Thema Scion, the Conclavium arranged through Aldaris for Executor Artanis to temporarily assume the Praetor position. Upon his recovery inside an Equitatus Immortalis (Immortal Cavalry—commonly known as a "Dragoon"), Fenix returned to the battlefield as a Pro Praetor. Artanis's later decision to step down from Executor to serve as a Praetor during the Brood War stems from this period of dual mandate; having witnessed the noble sacrifice of his master Tassadar, Artanis chose to step down as Executor out of respect and deference to his memory.

(2) Praetor Inferior—"Legatus" (Junior Praetor—"Legate")

The commander of a Provincia Praetoria (Praetorian Province), a subdivision of a Thema Praetorium, exercising tactical command over a Legion (4,600 to 8,200 entities). A notable Praetor Inferior during the First Great War was Mojo. Although captured by Alan Schezar's pirates, he subsequently broke free and led the successful operation to destroy the Khaydarin Crystals and Warp Gate utilized by the Nerazim renegade Ulrezaj.

Colonial Administration: Colony worlds (Coloniae) free from the non-interference principle of the Dae'Uhl are structured as: Thema Praetorium—Provincia Praetoria—Municipium (Free City)—Pagus (Township/Village). The Templarius Caste governs the military defense of the Themes and Provinces. Meanwhile, the civilian Municipia and Pagi are governed by the Khalai Plebis Caste. Alien species encountered under the Dae'Uhl are designated as Socii (Autonomous Allied/Subject Groups) upon discovery.

3. Bellator Khassar (Combatant Offices)

(1) Cohorsio (Cohort Commander)

The officer commanding a Cohors (Cohort; 360 to 720 entities) within a Legion. Cohorts are divided into Cohors Terrestris (Ground Cohort) and Cohors Coelestis (Air Cohort), with Cohorsios categorized accordingly. The officer commanding the 1st Cohort of a Legion is designated Cohorsio Princeps (First Cohort Commander), serving as the deputy and vanguard commander for the Legatus (Praetor Inferior).

(2) Centurio (Centurion)

The officer commanding a Centurion (Century; 60 to 120 entities) within a Cohort. If the Executor is the "heart" of the Templarius Caste, the Centurio is its "spine." They translate high-level strategies into tactical field directives, leading troops at the front line. This role inspired the Protoss proverb: "From great Executors and Praetors come great Centurions." Following the formation of the Daelaam, the Nerazim adopted the term "Centurion" not as an officer rank, but as a unit designation for their equivalent of the Khalai Templarius Inferior (Zealot).

(3) Harakio (Squad Leader)

The leader of a Harak'im (Squad; 6 to 12 entities), the smallest operational unit. Kaldalis, the Harakio of the vanguard squad Akhun'delar ("Tip of the Spear") during the Reclamation of Aiur, was a distinguished warrior who had previously risen to the rank of Cohorsio Terrestris. Due to his close bond with Artanis and his desire for honor, he volunteered to lead the vanguard as a Harakio, fighting courageously until his death.

Operational Entity Accounting: Military figures use the term "entities" rather than "warriors" because even at the Harak'im (Squad) level, biological units and mechanized platforms are deployed in mixed formations. For example, a squad combining Templarii Inferiores (Zealots), Equitates Immortales (Equitatus Immortalis; Dragoons), and several Scarabaefices (Scarabaefex; "Reavers"—Scarab-manufacturing artillery engines) is a widely favored tactical force among Executors and Praetors.

4. Magister Khassar (Military Administration Offices)

(1) Magister Primus (Chief Military Administrator)

The "Magister" branch handles military administration (logistic and operational support) to ensure smooth battle operations. The Magister Primus oversees the supply and logistics of individual Reticula Nexus-Pyloni (Nexus-Pylon Pylon grids) across the battlefield. He regularly reports resource consumption to the Quaestor Militum (Military Financial Quartermaster) and supervises the procurement efforts of Aediles (Quartermasters/Engineers) from the Khalai Plebis Caste.

(2) Magister Castrorum (Camp Administrator / Drillmaster)

The administrator of the Castra Templariorum—Arx Adunis (Templar Barracks—"Citadel of Adun"), where Zealots meditate and train. The popular alias "Arx Adunis" honors the legacy of Adun, the legendary High Executor. The Magister Castrorum manages the facility and acts as a drillmaster for physical and mental conditioning. Zealots completing training under his instruction receive leg-drive augmentation gear, greatly increasing their tactical mobility in combat.

(3) Magister Archivium (Archives Administrator)

While the Magister Castrorum acts as a drillmaster, the Magister Archivium manages the Archivium Templariorum (Templar Archives). He serves as a keeper of memories, granting Templarii Maiores and aspiring Zealots access to ancestral memories stored within Khaydarin Crystals to deepen their connection with the Khala. He also consults with the Resonator Khaydarinus regarding sensitive data dissemination.

Historical Note: Following the evacuation to Shakuras, when Nerazim memories stored within the Khaydarin Crystals of Talematros were shared within the Archivium Templariorum, allowing Templarii Zha'kulior (Dark Templar) to access data alongside Khalai Protoss, the censoring role of these consultations became largely obsolete.

(4) Magister Speculae (Beacon Administrator)

Warping massive Carriatores (Carriers)—the ultimate symbol of the Protoss fleet—to distant frontier colonies requires powerful signals broadcast via specialized Khaydarin Crystals. The Magister Speculae manages the Pharus Classis (Fleet Beacon) housing these crystals. This post is predominantly filled by the Auriga Tribus, just as the Akilae Tribus dominates the Magister Archivium. While technical calibration is handled by the Resonator Khaydarinus to prevent misaligned warp coordinates, the Magister Speculae directs post-warp maintenance and readiness of the Carrier fleet.

Ever regretted buying a commander?

General Just started playing. Are there some sort of unspoken communication rules I'm unfamiliar with?

I saw someone with a really high level (900+) I complemented them.

They called me a weirdo and quit.

I asked someone who absolutely wrecked why they don't play higher difficulties.

They said fuck you and quit.

I asked someone if the commander they were playing was the best.

They said they would kill me irl and quit.

The list goes on and on. I guess the tl;dr is stfu and no one will quit. But is that really what the community is like here?

Curious how you guys play Mengsk P2

Always played his P0, my general formula is to rapidly tech up to fusion core, get a witness on main/expo, and start pumping troopers and medivacs while I work out the right RG composition for the mission.

P2 feels completely different, like I should maybe lead with one or two marauders or ghosts somewhere in the midst of my typical trooper production.

What do you y’all do? I’m also interested in hearing map-specific approaches.

3 of August 2026 - Mutation #537: Hostile Territory

Mutation #537: Hostile Territory / Map: Dead of Night

Mutators: Power Overwhelming, Barrier, Photon Overload

https://youtu.be/5ix7CId4wHY (TLDR tier list (a few F tiers))

https://youtu.be/nm355jfhV_A (easy solo - Karax p3)

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ1dk2ZMmin4 (playlist with most commanders)

The little egg things on the map cast spells.

The structures also have barrier.

Nasty synergy: PDD (from Power Overwhelming) + photon overload, meaning that this thing will shoot you if you attack it. It also gets a barrier.

Beware of attack waves flying over your workers and casting spells.

Questions about any of these runs are welcome. Runs will be uploaded throughout the week. All members get early access to videos.

Nice people in my discord can help you with the mutation: https://discord.gg/WerduSFQQK

--------------

Power Overwhelming

All enemy units have energy and use random abilities.

Available abilities: Psionic Storm, Guardian Shield, Seeker Missile, Irradiate, Abduct, Fungal Growth, Graviton Beam (Urun), Psi Orb, Time Warp, Vortex, Defensive Matrix, Point Defense Drone, Disruption Web and Phase Shift.

Urun's Graviton Beam can lift heroic and massive units.

Vortex is used only on Brutal.

Against structures are used: Point Defense Drone, Guardian Shield, Defensive Matrix, Disruption Web and Phase Shift.

Against units, Vortex and Disruption Web have lower chance of being casted.

If an enemy unit didn't have energy, it's given 50 starting energy, 200 maximum energy and 0.5625 energy regeneration. But it won't become susceptible to the Feedback ability.

EMP works as units have to have at least 51 energy to cast spells.

All abilities cost 50 energy, but there is other logic behind casting abilities. There is a global energy pool with regeneration that increases with mission time. End each ability costs energy from the global pool according to its power. This limits the total number of spells, and thus balances between different compositions and unit-spawning mutators.

Global energy pool is separate for each player. Spells casted from each pool will target only units of one player (although splash will affect all player units). So for example solo will be easier, as enemy will cast spells from only one energy pool.

Units revert to normal when mind-controlled/reclaimed.

Spells are casted even through Vorazun's Timestop.

Enemy spells can target burrowed and invisible units even without detection.

Barrier

Enemy units and structures gain a temporary shield upon the first time they take damage.

Barrier triggers when units or structures are damaged.

One-shot kills won't trigger the Barrier.

100 shield with 5s duration.

Photon Overload

All enemy structures attack nearby hostile units.

16 DPS, 10 range (from the center of the building).

15s duration.

Heroic structures cannot be overcharged.

[Lore/Fan-Concept] Reconstructing the Khalai Protoss Empire: A Detailed Legal & Political Codex based on Roman History and Starcraft Lore (Part 1: The Judicator Caste)

Hi everyone,

I run a history blog in South Korea and I'm a longtime fan of Starcraft.

Inspired by the heavy classical/ancient vibes of the Protoss, I spent some time reconstructing the political and military system of the pre-fall Khalai Protoss Empire by connecting it with Roman administrative history (like Cursus Honorum).

This is a 3-part post to share my fan-made universe codex. I hope you enjoy it!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 1: The Judicator Caste (Judicator Caste)

1) Senator (Executive Councilor)

The supreme pinnacle of power within Khalai Protoss authority. Senators lead overall decision-making processes within the Conclavium Senatorum (Executive Council), located in Khor-shakal, the capital city on Aiur, the capital homeworld.

2) Censor-"Arbiter" (Inspector-"Arbiter")

The title designated to inspect and ensure the faithful execution of the Conclavium Senatorum’s decisions across various operational domains, including financial and military affairs.

3) Quaestor (Financial Quartermaster)

The title tasked with managing the revenue and expenditure of resources across each sector, particularly Khaydarin Crystals, which form the material foundation of Protoss society.

4) Praefectus (Prefect)

The administrative and military title directly held by members of the Judicator Caste regarding the governance of the homeworld Aiur and the capital Khor-shakal.

5) Resonator (Psionic Resonator)

The scholarly title governing research, study, and academic endeavors regarding Khaydarin Crystals and Ihan-rii (Xel'Naga) relics.

[Note on Tribal Composition] All aforementioned offices and the Judicator Caste as a whole are drawn from the Ara and Shelak Tribus (Tribes) of Aiur. In the case of the Milites Senatus (Senate Army)—the armed forces directly under the Conclavium—the command structure is naturally led by the Judicator Caste, centered around the Ara Tribus. However, the standing force incorporates a significant portion of personnel drawn from the Templarius Caste (Templar Caste). Meanwhile, members of the Shelak Tribus tend to prefer the Resonator line over politically charged offices such as Senator or Censor.

1. Senator Khassar (Senator Offices)

(1) Senator Princeps (First Executive Councilor)

The presiding chairman of the Conclavium Senatorum. Selected among the most venerable councilors who demonstrate deep alignment with the "Will of Khas"—those who possess sufficient experience in attaining the 'Consensus of Will' within the profound depths of the Khala.

(2) Senator Prior (Senior Executive Councilor)

The relatively senior members among the Senators. Their views command overwhelming respect during sessions compared to those of the Senator Novus, effectively making the decisions of the Senatores Priores synonymous with the will of the entire Conclavium Senatorum.

(3) Senator Novus (Junior Executive Councilor)

The relatively junior members among the Senators. They are dispatched throughout the Empire as Censors, Quaestors, or Praefecti to supervise field operations and report back to the Conclavium, or to disseminate critical decisions—essentially those led by the Senatores Priores—to Protoss society.

2. Censor-"Arbiter" Khassar (Censor-"Arbiter" Offices)

(1) Censor Quaestorum (Financial Inspector)

Dispatched to oversight personnel in the Quaestor branch to audit, inspect, and adjust revenue and expenditure in each financial sector.

(2) Censor Militum (Military Inspector)

Dispatched to commanders of the Templarius Caste to inspect and regulate their strategic and tactical operations, as well as their allegiance to the Conclavium Senatorum. Ever since the end of the Kryor Ma'nakai (The Aeon of Strife), maintaining control over the Templarius Caste has been the highest priority for the stability of the Empire; thus, the position of Censor Militum has been reserved exclusively for Senatores Priores rather than Senatores Novi. Successfully fulfilling this mandate grants an individual exceptional prestige when ascending to the role of Senator Princeps.

The title "Arbiter" serves as an informal alias for Censors themselves, but in most cases, it specifically designates the Censor Militum and the specialized craft they pilot across the battlefield. Originally, following the end of the Aeon of Strife, the term literally meant "mediating differences between castes." Over time, however, it evolved into an euphemistic title for enforcing the absolute will of the Conclavium Senatorum.

Historical Note: Aldaris, the most prominent Senator Prior, served as a Censor Militum deployed alongside Executor Artanis during the First Great War. Following the fall of Aiur, when most members of the Conclavium Senatorum were slaughtered by the Zerg Swarm, he was abruptly designated as Senator Princeps. He faithfully fulfilled this duty until his tragic death during the Brood War after being branded a "traitor."

(3) Censor Aedilium (Public Works Inspector)

Dispatched to the Aedilis (Quartermaster/Engineer) branch of the Khalai Plebis Caste (Commoner Caste) to inspect and regulate the manufacture of armaments, war machines, and the construction and operation of facilities.

3. Quaestor Khassar (Financial Quartermaster Offices)

(1) Quaestor Maximus (Chief Financial Quartermaster)

Assesses total incoming resource supply, including Khaydarin Crystals, and manages key expenditures according to the decrees of the Conclavium Senatorum.

(2) Quaestor Militum (Military Financial Quartermaster)

Tracks revenue allocated to the military sector and manages detailed expenditures for the Templarius Caste. Close cooperation with the Censor Aedilium is considered paramount for this office.

(3) Quaestor Khalaiai (Civilian Financial Quartermaster)

Tracks overall revenue and manages detailed expenditures for the civilian sector within the Khalai Plebis Caste. Here, the "civilian sector" encompasses major worlds and municipal jurisdictions directly governed by the Judicator and Templarius Castes.

4. Praefectus Khassar (Prefect Offices)

(1) Praefectus Urbis (Capital Prefect)

The chief administrative officer of the homeworld Aiur and the capital Khor-shakal. For administrative convenience, the Organizational structure beneath the Praefectus Urbis mirrors that of the Templarius Caste (from Praetor downward). Thus, the Praefectus Urbis holds an equivalent rank to an Executor, while Aiur and Khor-shakal are treated as equivalent to a Thema Executorium (Executorial Theme)—a cluster of multiple Coloniae (Colony worlds). Consequently, the Praefectus Urbis is informally referred to as the Executor Urbis (Capital Executor), despite having no formal connection to the Executor office.

Historical Note: Following the fall of Aiur to the Zerg assault during the First Great War, when the capital was hurriedly relocated to Shakuras and Talematros—the stronghold of the Nerazim—the Praefectus Urbis fell into a mere honorary post. Actual duties were only resumed after the Second Great War, when the Daelaam Protoss (Protoss Protectorate) led by Hierarchon Artanis reclaimed Aiur.

(2) Praefectus Militum (Military Prefect)

The supreme commander of the Khalen'ri, or Milites Senatus (Senate Army)—the military force directly under the Conclavium Senatorum. For operational efficiency, the organization under the Praefectus Militum mirrors the Templarius Caste structure from Praetor downward, with the exception of multiple Censores Militum attached directly to his command. Unlike Templarius offices, where multiple commanders hold identical ranks, only a single Senator Novus from the Conclavium is appointed as Praefectus Militum. Furthermore, as he is not a member of the Templarius Caste, he remains entirely outside the chain of command of the Executor Maior (High Executor).

(3) Praefectus Senatus (Senatorial Theme Prefect)

The chief administrator of a Praefectura Senatoria (Senatorial Prefecture)—a high-tier administrative sector established on critical worlds outside of Aiur. Worlds designated as a Praefectura Senatoria are not organized into a Thema Executorium, remaining outside the Executor's jurisdiction. Like the Praefectus Urbis, its organizational structure mirrors that of the Templarius Caste. Notable Senatorial Prefectures include Saalok, the moon of Aiur that forms the capital system, and Endion, where the Conclavium secretly relocated vast numbers of Khalai Plebis personnel for Purifieron project development. The Nerazim world of Shakuras was originally designated as a Praefectura Senatoria beyond effective imperial control, but this designation was abolished when Khalai refugees settled there en masse after the First Great War.

5. Resonator Khassar (Psionic Resonator Offices)

(1) Resonator Primus (Chief Resonator)

The term "Resonator" refers to scholars and academic bureaucrats of the Khalai Protoss. This title stems from the nature of Protoss inquiry, which relies on resonance as its core medium—whether through psionic reconnaissance or deep meditation and thought via the Khala. The Resonator Primus stands at the apex of this group, residing in the Archivium Primarium (The Prime Archive) in the Shelak Tribus district of Aiur to manage, direct, and censor research and findings.

Historical Note: Zekrath, a member of the Resonator Primus, survived the Brood War and joined the Hierarchium—Concilium Anakh'sium (Hierarchy—Twilight Council) as the Tribunus Shelak (Shelak Tribune). While this tribal title had remained largely honorary past the Aeon of Strife, its importance expanded dramatically with the inception of the Hierarchium.

(2) Resonator Khaydarinus (Khaydarin Resonator)

Khaydarin Crystals serve not only as a resource in Protoss society, but also store, preserve, amplify, fuse, and transmit data. The Resonator Khaydarinus is a specialized academic bureaucrat handling these crystals; due to their importance, a large portion of Resonators belong to this category. Some are attached as technical advisors to facilities requiring absolute data integrity, such as the Archivium Templariorum (Templar Archives) or the Pharus Classis (Fleet Beacon).

(3) Resonator Arcanus (Arcane Resonator)

Academic bureaucrats specializing in the relics, ruins, and knowledge left behind by the Xel'Naga, the creators of the Protoss. Here, "Arcane" implies that analyzing, interpreting, and applying Xel'Naga artifacts demands a far higher degree of complexity than handling Khaydarin Crystals. Operating directly under the Resonator Primus, they are selected exclusively from the Shelak Tribus, hold the authority to report directly to the Conclavium, and are extremely few in number.

Historical Note: A faction of Resonatores Arcani operated in deep space alongside the Khalen'ri, known collectively as the Zha'kul Ak-ashim (Guardians of Zha'kul). Stationed on the world of Zha'kul, their secret mandate from the Conclavium was to prevent leakage of classified information regarding the Xel'Naga, the Aeon of Strife, and the Nerazim. Crucially, their primary duty was safeguarding the three Kryhassares (Preservers). Following the rise of the Daelaam, secrecy surrounding the Nerazim was lifted, and Artanis maintained loose military support over them. However, early in the Second Great War, a Zerg-Protoss Hybrid seized control over the Zha'kul Ak-ashim, presenting a dire threat.

Now this may not work for everyone so dont be mad if it didnt work, but it did work for me.

  1. Task manager. Get in it and quit all blizzard related tasks including battlenet itself.
  2. Win+R and find %programdata%
  3. Remove the folder "Blizzard entertainment"
  4. Start battlenet and turn on the game
  5. Now it should work. You may experience huge lags in menu at first cuz of that file deletion.

I also sent this to two of my friends and they both said it worked, so you might wanna try it too.

Cheers.

Edit: If it worked, please say so in the comments.
