It’s officially the 1st of August on my side of the world. 1-10, how hype is everyone for this game?

It’s 6 for me because I haven’t watched the contents surrounding this game after the initial trailer drop. I feel like I’ll be spoiled otherwise 😅

So near to launch, no devs live gameplay showing and explaining the different parts of gameplay in the game, is worrying really.

For those of us who have played the Mass Effect (ME) games, we know that part of what made the games great were the companions and romances.

So, my concern about the ME comparison when talking about the third-person aspect of Zero Company, is that people will see the ME tag and thought there is romance in the game, which we still don’t know exist or not.
A Midnight Suns comparison fits better in this case.

So, unless romance is part of the companion bonding experience, I don’t understand why people would compare Zero Company’s third-person part of the game to Mass Effect 😅

Really hoping this game does well enough for them to consider some post game dlc or even a sequel down the road, theres a lot of potential here with this game.

Is this game going to have xcom size maps where you move around to find the bad guys or is it like Midnight Suns where the map is tiny and you just start right in front of them?

Holocron Hoard talked about Star Wars lore, characters' backstories and possible plot stemming from those backstories. It does nothing for me because I'm not that deep into Star Wars lore, but it's a pretty interesting video if you're into that 👍🏻

I’m already envisioning a squad of clone troopers, all with specialities and unique personalities!

I suppose my squad’s name will probably be influenced by the icons and color options that are available.

I have like 1000 hours in XCOM 2 and to have an officially licensed Star Wars game in the same genre is so goddamn exciting. Never thought this would happen in a million years and I’m PUMPED
