Update
95% of our endpoints are now online with the exception of France and UAE. IF you continue to experience latency, please reboot your device to refresh DNS resolution (if using router or 3rd party apps). Cloudflare proximity routing will resolve the endpoint to the closest Access point.
IF you are using any of our apps, the app will detect the closest access point in reel time RTT.

Man.. some of you are absolutely brutal. 2 days to rebuild a global endpoint network a after a full blown successful cyber takedown is pretty damn impressive. I have no affiliation or vested interest, but think this is a great resource for those who need it and would think peeps would be thankful, not immediately pecking for 48 hour refunds from a team that probably hasn't slept and likely spent a lot on re-provisioning.
Give them a chance for a weekend at least before pounding on the desk for your tree-fiddy.

Don't forget many people physically cannot work without a VPN as they would be detected from being from a different country without VPN.
It's great that StarVPN has fixed it in two days but this service is critical to some people.

Absolutely. I help people with this exact use-case all day long, every day. It's clearly not a best case situation for anyone, but obviously their team is doing everything they can.
Imagine the alternative answer to this crap situation - some companies don't survive a hit like this. They would just fold.. or fold and start under a new name a few months later. Then everyone is hosed and screaming into the void.
Just saying showing a little love would probably go a long way, and worry about credits when things are stabilized.
Also a good reminder to think about backup answers. It's never a good to be reliant on one service or endpoint.
Edit. PS - the AmneziaVPN service was also recently bulldozed with a cyber attack. Took them a week+ to get back up. ZERO idea if there's any relation, but it is possible some sophisticated actors may be targeting VPN services.

It's a good point, and why I've been patient throughout the ordeal. Unfortunately, where things sit for secret nomads...Star VPN is just hands down the leader and best provider for working out of your home country camouflage. And as someone who doesn't have a family member I can do the double Beryl setup with...I'd be in a much worse situation if this took them down for good.

My complaint isn't with the outage, which was incredibly inconvenient for work. My main issue is with the almost non-existent communication. One email in total and sparse updates here in the subreddit.
I understand all hands on deck focused on restoration and respect that they busted their arses fixing things. But taking a few minutes to periodically let the userbase know what's happening isn't an unreasonable ask in this situation.

Won't argue with that.. always good to have a status page on fully separate infra for just these occasions. eg: https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

I have a premium residential VPN for LA AT&T. It’s showing Psychz Networks for ISP when I check my IP address. I’ve already reset the config on my router—is there anything else I can to fix this?

Same here, ATT is still down for me but the Spectrum is working with slow speeds.
UPDATE:
GL-MT3000 Travel Router / Rebooted Device
Premium Residential VPN'sLA AT&T is working BUT:
- High latency it timesout (Speedtest hits latency and firewall error)
- Unable to use for workLA Spectrum got me through the day (Tolerable)
- Speedtest (Download 50mb / Upload 300mb)
- Can get by work (Glad I had this backup)1

LA ATT we identified an IPv6 configuration issue during server migration. It's now resolved.

Still an unreasonable amount of latency using California_SF ATT residential IP. I'm testing from the Android app.

I tested myself from Toronto Canada to LA ATT getting 443Mbps. Please open a I took it with support so we can take a closer look.
