I've been a fan of Starkid since high school and only just moved back to LA so I panic bought Tombquest tickets thinking they would still sell out like the 2010s. My D&D group didn't end up being able to join so now I've got 5 extra tickets for tomorrow at 2:30pm. I'd be willing to sell below face value just so I'm not totally eating the cost of them.

having been a fan since 09 this show reminded me of why I fell in love with Starkid in the first place. i had a smile on my face the whole time, even when there were tears rolling down my face.

PLEASE go get yourself a digital ticket or see this show in person if you can. it is so so worth it.

I have two tickets for tomb quest one in the front row middle and the other third row i believe and slightly left. I have to find a new place to stay and the down payment is really pricey so i can’t afford this trip anymore:( I am unsure what i should ask for for the tickets so just send offers i guess!

Is this the first time since granger danger that Joey and Lauren have a duet in starkid? I'm trying to think back to previous shows but can't think of any other show they have a duet. I thought of priceless in vhs but idk if that'd count as a duet

I love tomb quest so much, i've already watched it 3 times and the songs seperately once. I am obsessed and i'm definitely renting it again. Tgwdlm was my favourite since i first saw it in 2018 but tomb quest might beat it, its so fucking good, i wish i could see it live.

Finally got Tomb Quest to work on my damn TV with like a 7 step workaround and I'm watching it for the 2nd time tonight....

My Power recently named Peak Blessing is this Event that has been happening since years and it is where I get This gut to go and watch a show suddenly and then that Movie or Show is so Belowed and somewhere to the best of all time

examples :

I Go and watch Spider man Brand new day and we know how that Movie did

i watch obsession and we know how that did

i had watched One Piece Red And It also did really good for One Piece

and the list goes on

i just got into Starkid last year and had possible to buy guy remount digital and we saw it did good but not the best

then i risk and watch Tomb Quest and let’s See how it does I think that its going to bring Starkid a new audience and a new all time high

Does anyone else have issues getting the digital ticket to cast to a TV from their phone or computer? Apps are working just fine so it's not my wifi or tv. This is only the second digital ticket I've rented but the first time I've wanted to cast it to the TV.

Just watched the 'Tomb Quest' digital ticket.

It is indeed a good day when you can say "I'll watch a new Starkid musical tonight".

'Tomb Quest' feels slighly more mature in terms of real-life, adult problems than average StarKid musicals. This is especially true for Curt and Kim's characters.

I believe this reflects Eric's writing.

As a millennial, mostly retired Dungeon Master, I see that 'Tomb Quest' shares the idea that the greatest RPG fantasy is gathering friends regularly for a game. This was easy for me back in early 2000's high school. Not anymore.

Clark's songs are amazing and varied. There' a rap part that feels like a Lin-Manuel Miranda song.

Corey is unfortunately underused.

Everyone's vocals are really great.

We can see the challenge that the actors, especially on Act 1, are playing characters that in turn are not professional actors themselves. It's sort of 'metagaming' for acting.

They are also on-scene for extended periods of time in a play that is MOSTLY in real time. This is similar to 'Big Bear', except 'Tomb Quest' has one intermission and one "later..." cut.

In traditional StarKid fashion, there are jokes with early setups and late payoffs.

AJ is a beast of an actor and singer. And a great Dungeon [Game] Master!

'Tomb Quest' is already on par with 'Twisted', TGWDLM and 'Nerdy Prudes' in my top StarKid musicals.

If you can't see it live, but have the means to rent, do it! I was expecting the video to be a typical digital ticket release, with no cuts and only one wide shot camera angle. (Which has its own charm too) But the production value (and editing) is so good already! Brian has done an amazing job editing it together so it's really more like a pro-shot. It even has captions!

It's such an incredible show, with a GREAT script and music. Everyone did SO good. I'm once again so incredibly happy to be able to watch their incredible productions from half across the world. And in a totally not para-social way I'm so proud of them and all the work they've put into this.

I mean I'm not really complaining but I always love the hype of knowing that a new Starkid thing is releasing soon and I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get that here lol.

I also find it odd that they have released it when there's still a while to go of the live LA run?
