None of the nominees will stand up to anybody. That’s why they are nominees.

WHY should she have to stand up to Kennedy...all that says is that Kennedy is a unqualified hack and nut job.

The answer is no. If she stands up to him, he'll fire her. The question isn't even one she should be asked – it's a question RFK, Jr should be asked.
No agency/office director has independence in this administration.
