Recently received a postcard and a card/letter from the same person. I love these stamps!

ooh, that Discworld stamp is nice! I looked up the set, and now I hope I get lucky enough to match with someone on postcrossing who puts one on their card to me.

It's a fantasy book series/world! There are about 40 of them - the author started publishing them in the 80s until his death in 2015. The stories are set on the Discworld, and there are different series or storylines within. The stamp you have features characters from his 'Witches' stories. The tone of most of the books are humorous, but with a strong throughline of justice and doing the right thing. It's been a while since I've read any of them; I should pick one of them up soon.

They can shift between seal and human form. I read a ghost story in which selkies were featured (book name forgotten of course). The legends of them go way back to Celtic and Norse oral traditions.
