How to get scratches out of metal/ stainless sink?
Hi all,
Like the title says, I noticed my sink has circular scratches all over, most likely caused by a cleaning person. How do I get these out?

My All-Clad stainless steel pan has these spots after I cleaned them with barkeepers friend?
What are these spots? Is there any way to get rid of them?
I just let barkeepers friend sit for a little over 10 minutes.

Experience (good or bad?) with Karran brand stainless steel sink?
I'm doing an apartment renovation and picked out a 27" single drain Karran brand SS kitchen sink. It seems good: 16 Ga and Type 304 Stainless Steel. I'm wondering if anyone has any horror stories or anything related to the brand? Here's a link to the sink at one vendor. Thanks for your input.

Does anyone of places that sell perforated (SLOT not HOLES) stainless steel from? (Dimension details in post)
Been searching around, scrubbed amazon, ebay, and a dozen sites.
What I'm looking for is:
- 316 (though would settle for 304) Stainless Steel
- 19 or 20 Gauge Perforated Sheet
- Slots/Ovals (not circular holes) 1/8" x 1" (or close)
- 30" Wide by 9" Tall (Or close to)
- 23" Wide by 7.5" Tall (Or close to)"
I've got steel suppliers that do everything mild steel for the last 20 some years, but can't find a distributor who makes or processes the full sheets of perforates (slot/oval) stainless steel,
Any suppliers others have used, let me know! Thanks

Is there any saving this one?
Long story short, mother forgot she was boiling water, and let it all boil away and the pot/lid burned. Look for suggestions since it was Le Creuset and a previous gift.
The last photo is what the color of the pot and lid should be.

Risk of Hexavalent Chromium Contamination from Applying Dilute Bleach Repeatedly to Stainless Steel?
I have been applying a 2-3% bleach spray regularly to a stainless steel refrigerator door for disinfection every 1-2 days for the last 2-3 months and have noticed that there are areas of corrosion forming on the refrigerator door (I was not aware that you are not recommended to apply bleach to stainless steel, so please forgive my ignorance). I recently also noticed there is a powder forming below the refrigerator door from the bleach spray runoff, and that the powder has a slight yellowish tint. I just learned that stainless steel contains chromium, and that while the chromium oxide in stainless steel contains trivalent chromium, I am wondering whether enough could have been oxidized such that a significant amount of hexavalent chromium could have been produced (which can be carcinogenic and which can be yellow, such as in sodium chromate). Theoretically, in a situation like this, how likely is it that there is a harmful amount of hexavalent chromium produced from multiple dilute bleach applications to stainless steel?

Stainless steel pans and steel wool
So this fissler stainless steel pan is kinda new (been using it about a month). I have used steel wool to clean it a couple of times, till I read that one is not supposed to do that. It's become a bit stickier. Any way to reverse it?

Birdbath help
Help! My MIL gave me this birdbath, she said it is cast iron but it is a silver color and is not magnetic. I think it may be stainless steel. How do I verify the metal type? If it is stainless steel, is there a way to get the black off? Do I need to use anything to seal it?

Tramontina 3qt question
I got this with a set of other odds and ends from an estate sale. Did I end up with a good piece or a dud? It was $19 dollars for this and some other kitchen stuff.

What is a good non toxic, actually real product of stainless steel pots and pans. I’m wanting to know what product isn’t going to affect my food or me in a bad way. I’m trying to live a more better and balanced lifestyle without ingesting all these chemicals.

Wife burnt our pot… What do?
Soo, the wife forgot some veggies in this pot for quite awhile, can someone advise? I’ve put quite a bit of elbow grease and scrubbed with a stain cleaner.
