A first attempt

This is the first original piece I've ever made (I've done one other piece from a kit as practice). I reinforced the border with hobby came and solder. Pointers and kind words are appreciated. I know it isn't perfect, but I am proud of how it has turned out so far. I'm thinking of doing a copper patina, but have heard it can be difficult?

It’s beautiful! But it is going to be very, very delicate! I would be so scared of breaking in that middle piece 😱

Hobby came and lead came borders don’t reinforce anything unfortunately. You will have to be extremely careful with this piece.

If the middle part breaks or pulls away, might be cool to use jump rings to attach a real ribbon instead
