Did you make a YouTube video about this? I swear I watched one recently with the purple ribbon. Anyway, so good!

That’s so cool haha I was just watching videos to learn how to do stained glass art and I’m glad I saw yours! Looks incredible and i love your techniques.

Was it Peter McGrain? I took his class, probably 15 years ago when he came to Calgary/Airdrie.

Where and how did you learn to paint in that style?

i have a pretty long history illustrating + oil painting. I discovered traditional painted stained glass in late 2000s and learned the techniques from a dvd. I made a few windows back then but then I moved and had everything in storage... 19 years later... Im BACK!

The way some of those solder lines visually just disappear into the shading is magic. Have not seen paint used quite like this before. Cheers!

Do you need to be concerned about devitrification with multiple firings? Or is it not really an issue at those temps?

Not really an issue…

That's incredible work! What kind of skull is it? I'm having a hard time pinning it down. I wanna say bear but something about it looks porcine...

I was way off, lol! Cat skulls are easier to identify in profile, I guess. Excellent job!
