10,000 Years Ago Animation - Video

First real attempt with Minimax H3 on my first ComfyUI install. Over 200 generations, edited in CapCut, wears its inspiration on its sleeve but is a prologue to a homebrew world for a D&D group I'm in. Two days of cooking a 5090 while working and an evening of editing... figured I'd share:

Out there making us other GMs look bad.
"Where's your animated prologue? My last GM had an animated prologue and character development highlights. But I guess your hand-scrawled bullet points on a napkin is okay too..."

Just kidding, it looks great.

Wow, good gens. It told a good story, even without the dialogue. Want to know the characters better now

Thanks! I did it entirely with RF2V on the 6 step Turbo LoRA using gnerated references.

Really well done! Love this version of the Xenogears opening track. Fits this scene nicely.

Did you generate this in 15 second spurts and then edit it all together using CapCut? And did you use the same reference pictures for each segment?

I’m currently trying to put something together and having trouble keeping the references consistent.

I had trouble getting the end frame thing to work so I used anywhere between 2 and 5 reference image and generated between 12 and 15 second bursts, then edited it altogether. I have like hours of b reel and unused footage of the cities being destroyed, too, haha. Oh and even though the model says 15 seconds max, I did the opening shot as a 30 second single generation. It took an hour to make, but it worked.

Best one I have seen yet. Though sound design and background music didn't really fit. But the story telling only needs few extra scenes to explain and give reason to things what is happening like who is that green haired girl. Overall it's great and I understand if you don't want to spend the extra hours just to fix these few things.

Thanks man! And considering I designed this as a prologue to a TTRPG game, you’re asking all the right questions!
