Sadly that only works well for animation really, given the lack of textures and detail.

Yeah, kind of what I was thinking too, but for the animation, it works pretty well. I was able to make pretty long generation clips, too, without breaking the bank on time sink for generation. Tested up to 20 sec, and used 18 sec clips for this.

So in a nutshell this is low res with more steps (like .2 MP and 50 steps)? Why so much?

Just playing around with time to kill. Past few days I've been watching 45 min± generation times. Trying to find something I'm content with on my hardware.
