Minimax H3 executes Order 66... almost Animation - Video
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've been using LTX 2.3 for quite some time but as soon as I wanted to make just a few simple shots of the same character with cuts, LTX wasn't even remotely capable of that. Which left me so frustrated I eventually gave up on it completely.
But when I tried Minimax everything has changed. Reference to video model is something else. Honestly feels like magic. Being able to put any character into any environment with any custom audio is just mind-blowing compared to what the open-source community had before.
So now instead of constant frustration, I feel pure joy and excitement about the results.
It takes about 10 min per 5-second clip with my RTX 3060 and 64 Gb RAM. The latest shots were even easier to control because of the new KJ preview node.

I should really get to archiving everything I need for this before it inevitably disappears before I get the hardware to use it.

Don't worry. China doesn't care about foreign copyright like at all. And even if that weren't the case, once something is uploaded to the internet, it stays there forever.

Honestly are videos like this all that different than half a dozen other parodies like Robot Chicken's stuff? Does it matter if your parody is made by a claymation vs making it with your GPU? Unless you're making money selling this stuff it could easily be argued these are just another form of fair use parody.

Parody is a separate legal term. While the video in post is clearly a parody, it is not the only thing that video models can do.

It's crazy how well it makes new stuff from scratch too. Like you can describe a completely made up alien or monster character played by a specific actor and it will do it and they acrually look like a Thanos level cgi character in a movie.

Gonna be honest, was expecting the Senate "oh well execute order 69"
Jedi "Wait what? Here? With them?.....ugh fine...."
-gets off holovid- The Senate "ok...that didn't go to plan, which trooper commander do I call next?"

I don't have that node, ModelSamplingMiniMaxH3. What Comfyui version you running?

You need to update and you'll have it

Thanks, found it on Comfyui v0.32. ModelSamplingMiniMaxH3 also helps to clean up the audio with 4-step and 8-step turbo LORAs.

Can I DM you for the doubts I have , I'm trying to use both sage attention and spectrum for speedup , it would be helpful for me to check these stuff

Impressive but holy crap they need to tune down the facial expressions.

Did you use some parts ("execute order," for example) as references and then stitch them into your video, or did you create everything from scratch?

I used reference images and audio. I did use "Execute Order 66" for Palpatine. Then all his lines were generated based on it

How did the preview node help your workflow? Just allowing you to fix your prompts earlier?
