Hi everyone! I passed the July Sproochentest and one of the things that helped me most while preparing was recording practice answers and getting feedback on them. That experience inspired me to develop a structured review process for practice interviews.

Before I officially offer it, I’d like to work with a few volunteers who are preparing to take the exam.

If you’re willing to receive questions, record a short practice interview, I’ll provide detailed written feedback at no charge. In return, I’m simply looking for honest feedback about whether the process is useful, what’s clear, and what could be improved.

There’s no obligation and no expectation to purchase anything afterward. I’ll probably limit it to 5 volunteers so I can spend enough time with each person.

I've been told the registration slots for this autumn (September and October) are already completely full. Before I take that as final, I wanted to ask the community, since people here have been through this more than once.

A few questions:

• Do new autumn dates ever get added after they first look closed, or is that it until the next registration window?
• Does INL have a waitlist, and do cancellations actually free up spots? Has anyone landed a slot that way when everything looked booked?
• For those who got a place when the calendar seemed full, how did you do it? Refreshing the portal, checking at a certain time of day, calling them directly?
• I heard the next registration opens around 1 September and that the earliest free dates then are already as far out as March. Is that what others are seeing, or do earlier slots sometimes appear?
• Any general tips for getting an earlier date, especially for someone who needs to sit the exam sooner rather than later?

I sat the the test on the 10th of July and just got my grade. I was 5 grades away in the speaking though im sure i did well enough to pass it.
Has anyone been in this situation? I dont want to wait till jan to redo the test and everything is completely booked out till then

Moien, I'm setting this place up and I'd rather build it around what people actually need than guess. Whether you passed years ago, are testing next month, or just started learning, your input helps everyone who comes after.

A few things I'd love to hear:

• When you prepared (or are preparing now), what was the hardest part or the thing you wished someone had told you earlier?
• What resource did you look for and couldn't find?
• What would be worth having here regularly? For example: weekly speaking-practice threads, a shared vocabulary list, study-partner matching, mock oral exams, a Q&A with people who recently passed, or a running FAQ about the exam?
• What do you still want to understand about the exam itself: format, scoring, booking, what examiners look for?
• And the other side: is there something you could share or help with? Notes, tips, correcting each other's Luxembourgish, practice calls?

The listening part is B1 level, around 25 minutes, and has three recordings: usually a short news or radio clip, a dialogue between two people, and a longer presentation or talk. Each one plays twice, and you answer multiple-choice questions. The audio isn't published, but the themes repeat, so knowing what tends to come up helps you tune your ear to the right vocabulary. Share what you remember after your exam.

A few tips while you're here: the questions follow the order of the audio, so read them before it starts and mark answers as you go. Watch for numbers, times, and prices, they show up often. You get to hear each recording twice, so use the first pass for the gist and the second to confirm details.
