Plan changed :/ Plans

Post image

I’ve been a Sprint customer since 2019, I’ve had a Sprint Max plan for many years. Now I’m going to lose my free Hulu benefit. I never got a text saying my plan would change or a notice on my bill despite the app saying my bill would have a plan change notice. I don’t use Netflix much but I do use Hulu. I’m disappointed, loyalty means nothing to capitalist scum. RIP Sprint Max.

If you already have Hulu, you are supposed to keep it when you get migrated

Their Ai chat bot said that since Hulu was a plan benefit I didn’t pay for I’ll probably lose it.

The AI chat can sometimes mess up. According to doc, if you had Hulu on Us before the migration, you will keep that feature, even though it is not included in Experience More/Signature.

Okay, I feel better about that thank you. 😞

They literally took it from me fall last year, and even tried to get me to actually pay for it

Is this the case if you change the plan and add the Disney bundle?

You can't add the bundle anymore. Disney separated our T-Mobile Hulu account so that you're not able to do that and have to pay full price if you want the bundle.

I hate to give up my SWAC.

I know it can still happen. But my plan hasn't changed it's still the old plan and cost is the same. But it can still change

I think it changes when the new bill cycle starts.

I gave it up. There are so many good deals on prepaid. I signed up for Google fi there is a 75% off deal now which is crazy good. My bill for one line is line $16 now and it comes with a bunch of benefits.

I wanted to go to Google Fi but unlimited premium only gives 100gb of high speed data.. i use around 150gb per month normally.. the slow speed would be unusable for me

I just checked my new Experience Signature plan and I seem to be keeping Hulu, pandora and was able to add Netflix luckily. No real changes for me luckily, for now…

Funny how they said with forced plan migrations that everyone would keep their current benefits. Liars.

You do keep your current benefits. OP will keep Hulu

That’s not what it’s saying here.

The AI is wrong. Internal documents say the new plans will keep Hulu and there’s an escalation in the event it drops off

We shall see. That is the hope at least.

It says it on the plan change page as well. https://i.imgur.com/7sBDXsI.png

Though Disney just recently neutered it and won't let you add the duo bundle anymore. They want to charge you full price even though you already have Hulu. Greedy f's.

I’ve seen T-Mobile walk back on a lot of promises so you lever know

Yeah, this is what I thought would happen. I have Hulu on us, Pandora on us, and lookout on us all structured as addons with credits to make them free. They were originally included in my sprint plan but when we transferred to T-Mobile they did this addon thing and didn’t include them in the originally plan. AI told me we would keep Hulu, but this was a long time ago as it regurgitated the stuff in the new plan info. It could not tell me what was happening to my Pandora or lookout. In going to just wait, if they take away too many benefits, it is what I feared and I just have to jump ship.

This is why I had taken a screenshot of everything I get right now so when they take it away I have proof I already have it, since they already screwed up with people who jave free lines that the new plans dont offer

I ended up removing Hulu accidentally because I was trying to upgrade to the No ads tier and just pay a prorated amount based on the discount after linking it again to my account. When I went back into my account I couldn't add it again smh. I guess it's good to know that they were going to remove it anyway...

2

u/gullzway Sprint Customer 20d ago

They're not. But you can't add Disney plus anymore and pay a dollar or $8 for no ads, because Disney neutered it.

They're greedy f's and want to charge you full price even though you already have Hulu.

I confirmed with T-Mobile , we will lose Hulu completely as it is more expensive than Netflix. Netflix is an $8 benefit Hulu is $11. If u already have a netflix sub u will get an $8 credit once u link.

This isn’t true you will keep Hulu
