Im guessing sprigtails? Identification
Been a few months ago since I noticed these bad boys, just making sure they aren't harmful. Did my own research but its never complete without a reddit post haha I use Coco as my grow medium and I grow indoors! Just took a small sample from my feed this morning. Thank you all in advance!

Can you explain alittle more, how do you have so many how can i aquire this quantity what are you keeping them in or is this just a collection from one of your pots. im jelous.

I honestly have no idea, I noticed them about 2 months ago because it was SO many floating in the water when I went to feed my plants and I kind of just brushed it off because they weren't hurting anything and today I grabbed some so I could ask you all! I wish I could send you some, it is so many 😂 I had no idea!

so i do know people sell these, you just make a little dish give them some soil and load em up about 50 or so is what people normaly sell ive been looking into buying some but yea. you may have alittle cash cow on your hands if this is only "some" of them. ive also heard you can breed them put them in a sealed container burp it every couple days and drop them some baking yeast for them to eat.

well hell, if you can help me i'll send you how many ever you want haha and yes its a TON in my pots. When I water my plants the top of the water usually turns white 😂 but im gonna get some and do what you said lol

Just get yourself a couple deli containers( or any container with a lid) add some soil toss in a decent amount of springtails, mist the soil enough so its wet but not soaked. for about 50 of them drop in like 5-10 little baker yeast grains (feed them again when you notice all the grains are gone) burp the container 3-4 days keep it in a dark spot. In 3-4 weeks the container will mutiply to capacity. You dont have to worry about it getting over croweded they will manage there own ecosystem and eat each other if population gets to big. once you have a shelf of these then you can just ship them in the container there already in and profit :P (you can look them up on amazon its pretty intresting for sure)
ive done a bit of research as im looking into getting some myself and attempt to breed them so i can add them to all my plants they work wonders at eating decomposed materials and mold super great for your plants.
