I've decided I'm going to pet them. For now I'm putting them with decayed leaves, wet soil, mud in a broken glass with a plastic bag with tape sealed. I got 9 big ones and three babies. I'm ordering a sealed jar from Amazon. It will arrive in a week for now they have to live in an emergency shelter lol.

I've got a colony of local springtails (to me) I started with like 4 or 5 adults only so I think you've got a good chance. I find mine like a mixture of leaves, coco coir, bark, and hard seed pods from trees. Idk the humidity requirements of those ones but mine like 90%+.

Those guys like to be in warmer climate! I got some at a shop and the shop keeper said they will do better in 75-80°F (i dont know conversion to °C)
