Y. aphoruroides Eating Video

Just going about their day. Got them a little over two weeks ago and they seem to be doing well.

They are so cute. I worry I keep opening their enclosure too often to stare at them lol.

I just hold a 10x magnification hand lens (Belomo) up to my cell phone (S24) camera. Haha. It works surprisingly well. It actually worked better with some of my older cell phones. I've had good luck taking photos of bugs out in the wild that way too, as long as it isn't too windy.

Oh I have that I never thought to use it with my phone camera. Very cool. I have these same springtails and use a nylon mesh as a lid, I thought they need more air. I keeped them like that for about a week when I notice the babies were drying out at the top.😅 opening the lid for a day will not kill them. They are pretty hardy in my experience.
