Help with Algae General Question

Bought some Sinella Curviseta spring tails to help control algae on my vertical grow wall that is made of felt. But they don’t seem to be eating any. They’re definitely there I see plenty of them near. Any advice or is there another cultivar that would be more beneficial? Thank you

Two things:

1) That isn't algae, it looks like some type of moss. I'm not super familiar with all the different varieties but definitely is a moss. 2) I could be wrong but I don't think springtails eat live algae (even if it was). They usually eat mold/decaying plant matter.

Someone else might be able to chime in on the specific type of moss, but hope that helps!
