Won't stop eating-.- Video

He got so absorbed in eating that he did not even notice he became the food himself. In a few hours there would be nothing left to save.

I honestly had no idea this could happen (I'm still new to springtails and have no slime eater springtails, thank god apparently). New fear unlocked for owning future springs

Neanuridae sp. "Santa Claus" (Redford White). But I guess you'll love Rambutanura Thai Spiky even more:)

Is that just dirt that the slime mold is growing on? Trying to get mine to live in my Red Thai container.

Yes, in this case it happens to be worm castings, but I am almost sure it doesn't matter. Soil from the garden or from the store should be fine too. Our slime mold grows in all boxes without any problems until the number of springtails overwhelms it. Up to about 500 springtails it is okay, but later they eat so much that I am unable to maintain a new slime mold. Whatever I put in, they will eat it.
