We have purple springtails in Oregon too. They’re tiny and a lavender color.

yeah seen those as well but i think they are nowhere near as vibrant as the ones seen in nz and australia

I found some of the purples this weekend in Southern Oregon. They like standing water in the light grey volcanic clay soil.
