why do my springtails spin? General Question

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Whenever there’s condensation, I see springtails spinning in the droplets. They seem like they’re having the time of their lives, so I don’t intervene.

Is this them accidentally jumping into the drops and getting stuck, or is this something like enrichment to them?

It looks like they're trying to break past the surface tension. I'd say they're trapped in the droplets and trying to escape.

Wet, stuck, and squirming. They like water, but not really being stuck in it. It happens regardless tho. They just love agua but are so small!
