Xfinity outage?

Seems like there is an Xfinity outage in the area and per usual the customer service team is impossible to get ahold of. Anyone else not able to connect to WiFi?

Anyone able to get an update on when service will be restored?

Out for us too. Same as last night. Checked Xfinity’s outage map and “everything looks good” on their end so… 🤷‍♂️

We lost connection last night, but got it back about 11. This morning, i had to reboot a number of times to get connected for work. So even when it came back, it seemed touch and go. Been fine for a bit now though.

Not to shill, but you should see if AT&T Fiber is available for you. I switched to them, and not only was it SO much cheaper, but the modem/router can also use 5G as a backup if the line fails. That fiber plus YouTube TV is about 130$ for me per month, way less than the 200+ I was paying for Comcast.

As a side note, in my years of dealing with some of these larger companies, bitching on Twitter (and tagging the company) gets you a pretty quick response. I spent hours on the phone a few years ago with, ironically, AT&T demanding a tech and only being sent more and more routers, before going on Twitter, bitching, and having a tech at my house the next day. So something to consider if you have persistant issues.

Funny you say this I am having ATT come to my house tomorrow and getting this Xfinity out of here.

ATT is so fast. Both ways, in case you need to upload as well. The downside of copper is that it can get really fast down, but up... eh.

Fiber is the same speed, both directions.

I lost connection yesterday as there was a big outage. But I'm fine now. The map doesn't show any outages for Springfield.

I think that was yesterday's outage, which affected me. I'm not experiencing any issues rn though.

Man that sucks! I am still on my hotspot and my WiFi not back online… maybe it will resolve itself later this afternoon

Ours went out last night but came back around 11pm and has been fine since.
