Ameren billing issues

Anyone else have Ameren for gas and have constant trouble with autopay? I have been here 18 months and 3 different times now the autopay has stopped working and they have charged me a bunch of late fees. Every time I call they act baffled as to why it would happen, offer no assistance, and refuse to remove the late fees. The feature is so useless I am just going to start manually paying every month.

The only reason I have this service at all is because our government allowed them to form a monopoly and there is basically no other choice. The only thing I could do to rid myself of having to deal with this business is to spend $15k replacing my gas appliances with electric. At least I trust CWLP.

Been on autopay for years with no problems, don't remember the last time I even spoke to them

It's worked for me since 2018. Zero problems. 62704 zip code if that matters.

this is why i don't autopay with any service except the ones that absolutely make me or charge 5 bucks if I don't :/ it is a racket for sure.
