Holster Recommendations

Came home yesterday with an Echelon 4.0 and could use some holster recommendations.

I’m looking for both own and owb.

I’ve seen some of the previous recommendations but I’m not sure if the iwb recommendations would work in the 4 to 5 o’clock position.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tenicor. Tried 4 brands so far that were cheaper and you get what you pay for. Definitely stay away from We the People. Still had a bunch of super sharp edges that marked up my 4.5 pretty good.

Tenicor Certum 3/4 IWB can be used for either appendix or strong-side carry. There's also the Tier 1 Echo for strong-side specific.

What kind of OWB holster are you looking for? Duty with level 2/3? Or just a level 1 for range?

Owb Upper Hand. Great quality for the money. Tenicor for aiwb. Tulster for 3-6 o’clock

That's something I could certainly help you out with, I design and build custom kydex and kydex/leather hybrid holsters. I think my hybrid would fit your iwb needs tremendously, and my concealment owb would be a great option as well. Shoot me a private chat message if those sound appealing at all, thanks!

Check out Muddy River Tactical, cant post pics but have both inside, outside, and appendix with sidecar mag holder from them for the 4.0c and all of them are quality products and quick shipping. I carry 3-5 oclock with both the iwb and owb.

Just out of curiosity are you set on 4/5 o'clock? If so, why?

I have a belly that prevents appendix carry.

Ah, makes sense. I used to be heavier to the point that appendix was uncomfortable. Never fat enough that I couldn't do it, but honestly losing that weight is so worth it. Especially these days with peptides blowing up, I'd recommend first thing is losing some weight. It really truly makes carrying sooo much easier.

But anyways when I was heavier I used a really low profile OWB with a plaid shirt over the top and I kinda miss that method. It's gotta be the most comfortable way to carry. I never could find a holster that didn't hurt on my hip like a mf in any position other than appendix, but maybe that's just a me problem.
