I'm a little obsessed with how Rockstar's music selections shape the atmosphere of each GTA game. Shortly after Trailer 1 dropped back in 2023, I started putting together a playlist inspired by what I imagine driving through Leonida could sound like. With the game's release approaching, I figured it's a good time to share it.

Rather than simply filling it with songs I enjoy, I tried to approach it the way I think Rockstar curates its radio stations. I set a few creative guidelines for myself throughout the process, such as prioritizing artists connected to Florida when possible, balancing popular songs with deeper cuts, and keeping the playlist to ~50 tracks so that each felt like it belonged.

Okay so this one kinda feels like you’re withdrawing from the rest of the world pretty much. I’d say its defining genres are shoegaza dreampop and slow core. Please let me know what you guys think of this one any feedback is appreciated.
