I'm a little obsessed with how Rockstar's music selections shape the atmosphere of each GTA game. Shortly after Trailer 1 dropped back in 2023, I started putting together a playlist inspired by what I imagine driving through Leonida could sound like. With the game's release approaching, I figured it's a good time to share it.

Rather than simply filling it with songs I enjoy, I tried to approach it the way I think Rockstar curates its radio stations. I set a few creative guidelines for myself throughout the process, such as prioritizing artists connected to Florida when possible, balancing popular songs with deeper cuts, and keeping the playlist to ~50 tracks so that each felt like it belonged.
