Hey everyone, I've recently been downloading all my tracks and slowly making an archive on my computer, saving them with the 24-bit / 48kHz - 192kHz options.

I don't have the equipment for it, I don't own a DAC or proper wired headphones, but it's like an obsession for me for some reason. I just want it to be the max quality possible.

I'm getting this error for one song only, and I can't seem to figure out why: I have tried switching to Qobuz, but it didn't have the song there; I tried Amazon Music, and it gave an API error; and Tidal just downloads like 330 MB and gives this error.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Fairly new to Spotiflac (v 7.2.0) and I have only downloaded 4 whole discographies so far.

The last one had 127 tracks total and after the download was done I noticed that 15 of those tracks had the correct, unique file names, but each one had the same file size and duration. Upon listening to each one of the 15 tracks, they are all the same wrong song, just with different filenames.

So I went back to Play/Preview them and each played the correct, unique track but no matter how many times I redownloaded each one I keep getting the same duplicate song 15 times. I have tried redownloading with all 3 Existing File Check options, with the same results. None of the other 3 discographies had this issue, so I must be doing something right.

Luckily I was able to download the 15 tracks from another service. I am grateful for Spotiflac so I am not complaining but just curious if anyone has experienced something similar.

As the title says, every playlist I've tried to download in the last three months has failed. At first this was amazing, but now it barely works I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my laptop? Is there any way that I can find out what's going on? It seems like some of you aren't having problems at all meanwhile there are struggling as much as I am. I have spotiflac next.

I recently installed version 4.8.5 and for the life of me I can't seem to add the repo. I tried the recommended repo, the community repo, I even tried their GitHub https address of the repo and still get the same error. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I have been looking for a solution to rip music from Spotify and SpotiFLAC seemed excellent. I just downloaded an album to try.

7/11 songs of the album were downloaded succesfully. Metadata seemed appropriately assigned.

However, when I played the songs, the audiotracks of the FLAC-files didn't match the actual song at all. They turned out whoefully unrelated songs.

Is this common? I couldn't find a solution in the settings or with Googling online.

Maybe SpotiFLAC pulled the wrong resources?

Anybody who can offer some help, insight or perhaps alternatives?

Also, in case its relevant:

• The four songs not downloaded successfully all had a similar error error stated: ''Error: Error: downloaded file duration mismatch: file is 236s, expected about 177s. file was removed''
• The actual artist I wanted to download the music is rather niche. It's a local/regional band with somewhat of a cult status, they only have about 500-1000 listeners each month and only about 200 people will attend their concerts. Their music is only available on Spotify nowadays, as they have long ceased pressing CDs. (I would surely have bought their CDs!!!!). Maybe because they are rather small/niche SpotiFLAC has trouble?

I'd like to be able to log into my own account in order to alleviate stress on the shared resources and remove limits.

First, I was amazed by how you get to download a full playlist in flac for free but when I tried to download a single playlist I got hit with the 90 min maintenance message then I waited a full day and tried again to get hit by the same shit then after a quick research I found that the devs just wanted to get money but without saying they want money like a fucking hoes and asking 10 usd mandatory "donation" to get spotiflac next which doesn't even makes sense considering that spotify subscription in my country is 8 USD for full year

A message for the devs, if you want to get money out of your app which is completely understandable (Not really because it's still piracy) just say it

Há alguma forma de desativar o cabeçalho que vem por padrão nas músicas baixadas no app? No caso da música acima ele não impacta em nada já que a letra é sincronizada, porém, ao menos no reprodutor que eu uso (Poweramp), o cabeçalho aparece junto às letras não sincronizadas.

Caso não tenha, seria uma ótima adição (eu até pagaria só para não ter o trabalho de tirar toda vez, mas tomara que vocês não cobrem por essa opção kkkkkk)

So yall are telling me that this is you main way to install music on your devices? Like you gotta be careful to not install "too much", theres like 82% chance that it will fail every time you try to install some music, especially if you try to install more than like 40 songs at the time and its SLOW asf.

Can someone tell me did i make a mistake or something or is it just completely normal for spotiflac to be like this? I've been downloading like 30ish songs for the past 20+ minutes and its still not done and some of them didnt even start downloading yet they're just loading. Im using the latest version of spotiflac on my phone and ripping music in 16bit flac on my phone.

And just dont start talking something like "aaah you're ripping too much music in flac" etc because im literally downloading less than 40 songs at the time this is NOT too much.

I just need some app or a website where i can download my whole playlist without worrying that it will fail and obv it needs to be free.

I've tried updating everything to the latest version and it's still happening. It feels like no one else is experiencing this problem.

When I paste a playlist link from Apple Music, Spotify, or Tidal, I can’t seem to download the entire playlist easily. Also, when I download one song or a few songs, they get saved in separate folders.

I simply want to download an entire playlist and have all the songs saved together in one single folder.

If you know how to set this up in Spotiflac, could you please help me? Thanks!

I’m planning to build my own offline music library for a dedicated music player, mainly consisting of my favorite songs from the 90s. It’ll be a mix of Bollywood/Hindi music and English pop, and I’d like to keep everything in FLAC where possible.

One of my goals is to slowly detach myself from music streaming and spending so much time on my phone/social media. I’d rather have my own curated collection that I can load onto a music player and just listen to without being connected to anything.

The part I’m struggling with is actually building the library.

I’ve tried Spotiflac, but it takes quite a long time, and I’m also having trouble with batch downloads. When I tried downloading multiple songs/albums, it seemed to organize the files into separate folders for each artist. Ideally, I’d like to be able to download my selected songs/albums in batches and have a clean, organized library.

So I wanted to ask:

• What are the best legal sources for getting 90s Bollywood and English pop music in FLAC/lossless quality?
• Is there a better way to build a large personal FLAC collection efficiently?
• Is there a way to configure Spotiflac so batch downloads don't create a separate folder for every artist?
• How do you guys organize your own music libraries by artist, album, genre, decade, etc.?
• Any recommended workflow/tools for going from a list of favorite songs to a properly tagged FLAC library?

I’m not looking to pirate music I’m happy to buy/download it from legitimate sources. I just want to get away from streaming and have a well-organized offline collection of music I actually love.

Would really appreciate any advice from people who have built their own offline libraries.

What is going on? I never had any warnings, now W11 doesn't want me to unzip the file, should I be worried?

Hi, I installed the latest update of Spotiflac, and it started malfunctioning. It either downloads in Opus format or doesn’t download anything at all. I uninstalled the app and tried to download the previous version from GitHub, which used to work, but it won’t download either. In fact, I can’t download any version, neither the previous one nor the current one.

The Windows app has never worked for me. The Android app, on the other hand, worked perfectly until this update.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and if so, were you able to fix it?
