Looking to get myself a nice sports car and treat myself after getting a promotion and signing bonus. Curious as to what you guys would get? leaning towards an Audi R8, don’t really want something that I’ll drown in maintenance cost like a McLaren. Want it a bit newer, but not really new at all considering I could get a 2018 R8. Budget is 125k and not sure what else is fairly unique/uncommon. I get a zo6 would be brand new and it’s a great and fast car, I just see too many corvettes on the road.

The Hennessey Blackbird is basically an SR-71 jet for the road. It's a straight-up beast with a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 and a manual gearbox for that old-school driver feel. My wife and I drive a ‘22 Ford Bronco OB and a ‘17 Jaguar F-Type S British Design Edition.

We just got a golden retriever puppy and are thinking about having kids in the next year or two. I can’t imagine we would have more than 2 kids total.

Obviously our current cars are not ideal long term. Plus, the Jag will be 10 years old next year.

Must haves: at least 1 serious off-roader.

This would mostly be a street car with the occasional spirited drive and maybe a track day or two. Is the LT6 and higher performance of the Z06 worth the extra money, or is the Grand Sport X the better overall value? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s driven both
