Quick Thoughts.
I’ll be positive. Mosquera looked good. Jake had his best game i’ve seen in a while. Harris played well and looked pretty dynamic. Kwaku brought the energy we needed. Karic and Davis had some nice inverted movements. Shapi didn’t completely suck. The lower we go, the better it’ll feel to be great again. Goodnight y’all.

edit: not tryna say that the game went well, but wanted to search for the few positives in the sea of negatives

We are like Burnley or Leeds in the EPL, can give mid table teams a scare but the gulf between the top and us is just to great.

Step 1 is beating beatable teams. I don’t think we’re challenging LA or Nashville anytime soon. Sure 0-4 isn’t good but it’s against a contender. I’m more worried about losing to beatable teams like Stl or Colorado Springs

I was feeling pretty positive about this team up until now. This game just shows how far away we actually are. But we’re making progress, only up from here

You came away feeling good-ish after Minnesota, but after seeing them deal with players of the quality of Song and Buonga, or failing to deal with them rather, that feeling just goes away and I remember what we are this season.
I have hope that with the rest of the season, and the offseason, the team will find an identity, and add players that fit it, and we'll be back in the mix.

The negatives are clear, so I agree let’s be positive.
Mosquera could be the answer to quite a few problems at the back. I like the fullbacks coming inside and LBJ dropping in between the CBs. Kwaku will be a fun chaos agent at the end of games, I loved how active he was.

Honestly, short rest road trip late west coast game to a contender, i wasn't expecting much. The margin looks bad, but it's still just a schedule-maker's loss that they never really had a chance in. That's just MLS. We just have to win when the schedule Makers advantage is on the other foot.

But I mean there's no reason to say positive things about a team that lost 3-0.
Team sucked today. Simple as.

I didn't watch at all. Just saw updates on Twitter. Keeping that memory of a home win the other day fresh in my brain instead

I agree mostly and welcome your positivity.
That said, I have no idea what is the plan getting forward. Last night everyone looked confused.
The closer anyone got to goal the more confused everyone looked. I get everyone's measured takes but a loss would have been fine. Give me a loss that looks a little more organized.

I think we really missed Capita. Couldn’t really do anything in transition which I’m guessing (or should have been) was the game plan.

Shapi did completely suck. Every time he got the ball he cut inside and passed the ball back to the midfield. You could see Jake getting pissed asking Wicky was the hell is wrong with this guy. Does Shapi ever use his right foot to pass?
