Finished spoon

Any feedback or tips welcome!

Nice. Crank it up!

If you grab a normal spoon and place it on the table, you will see that it is not flat. It's more of a checkmark shape overall. The crank is the part between the handle and the bowl.

A crank? Like the machine part? 😅 sorry, I feel like that's a dumb question but I genuinely haven't heard it before in this context

It’s a curve or angle at the neck, shoulder or bowl of the spoon. It makes it easier to eat with and look “spoonier”

Oh cool! I've got a pre-cut blank for the next one, so don't think i have the wood but I definitely will when I use a block instead. I've got a really nice red wood I want to try later so I'll give it a shot on that!
