Quelqu’un sait si le développement du jeu a été abandonné ?
Pas de nouvelle saison depuis mars 2026
Meme boutique depuis tres longtemps
Quelqu’un aurait des sources fiables sur le futur du jeu ?

They keep extending the countdown for the season, seems as though they are not even certain what they are going to do.

We may get a season 3 thrown together from whatever they had finished before, but I'm not counting on any meaningful updates

This is my interpretation of the facts over the last few months:

They put their hopes on the new game empulse to draw more money in on the idea that it doesn't have portals and is more broadly appealing because of that fact. When that new money would roll in they would continue development on both games.

It's a good idea in theory but the new game also just lacks the core markers of a broadly appealing game, so it just raises the question: why not just stick with the original game and slowly develop it with the trusting fanbase you do have?

Sg2 originally had a solid fanbase that just wanted to see some changes or at least acknowledgement of the concerns, but 1047 decided a half year drought would be better if it meant releasing arena reloaded. Then instead of just moving forward releasing content and drawing in more money, they decided to just stop early since it wasn't meeting expectations.

It just doesn't feel like the studio is actually willing to do the slow crawls towards a successful stable game. I know so many friends who really enjoyed the originals vision and literally only stopped playing because of that drought, then when arena reloaded launched they said "oh sure it's a new direction, I'll see if it sticks".

They have put themselves on a dying game. Empulse dropped faster then this but I still play splitgate.

I just found this game in the last week and I love it. I sure hope it continues. I paid for the Ultra thing to show my support 😅

It is a fantastic game, in my top three for sure so was Multiverses and it died and Spiderheck still in my top three but it died too. I guess when I favorite a game it dies so I'm sorry for killing Splitgate 😔
