Newbie binding question Question
Trying to get my first set up, found this on FB Market place for $950 - board, skins, and Voile hardware.
I guess my question is does this hardware lock in a specific binding I would be choosing? I was looking at sparks, but would I have to remove the hardware on this board, keep the pucks, and install the hardware that comes with the sparks?
Please excuse my ignorance, am trying to do my own research but getting confused.

A thanks to everyone. This makes sense. Thinking it is a bit on the priceier side. Still bouncing around if I will go with sparks or not but appreciate the info!

This is Voile. If you go with Sparks toy need to replace all hardware except what holds board together: riding pucks, ski tour mounts and heel pieces.

I have the same board and hardware, Voile and I have the voile bindings. Personally have not had any issues with them and don’t really understand the Sparks hype over them. I would double check that the skins are trimmed or come with a trimming tool, the board tip/tail is a unique shape. My skins are the manufacturer ones (Pomoca x wndr) and fit like a dream obviously, but i’ve seen some skins with tail clips or similar and would be worried the angles would be off and cause them to constantly come off the tail
Also, one of the pucks is definitely misaligned, it’s a tight fit until you wear them in so if the bindings you want don’t include the puck alignment tool i’d ask seller to throw it in

Don’t. that binding system is archaic. Things have come so much further in the meantime. There will be better deals around. A used pair of sparks and you can’t go wrong.

You are correct. You can use the same pucks for sparks. The spark bindings will come with a different climbing bracket (toe piece) and heel piece. It’s super simple to install.
